I think if developers showed how much was put into things that seem simple in the game then people would have a much greater appreciation for them and wouldn't complain about the long time period between content
I agree. I'm really glad that this clip (it's apart of a longer ~15 minute segment) was shown on the warrior's den last week. They showed the creation of the shugoki execution from start to finish with most of it's steps, which really goes to show just how much effort it takes to make them and why we're only getting one set per season.
The behind the scenes is really dope. I hope to see more of them moving forward.
Steel Papaya Art design team is not the engineering or balance team. They're completely separate.
Chris Gravitt when did steel papaya say they weren't, the way he wrote it probably means the for honor team in general
Steel Papaya Well you gotta think about how the game had a shaky launch and you can't just clap your hands and get dedicated servers. This is also a MEDIEVAL fighting game without any magic or other modifiers so if you try to have "realistic animations" and such with actual "combos" that existed but still have to keep a new concept balanced IS REALLY HARD. Many will say overwatch is balanced almost perfectly or somthing but its because 95% of these other games all have magic or futuristic tech. So I'd just be happy they are doing something because as far as im concerned I personally think this game is less broken than siege rn and I play both extensively and I love both.
MaterialCoast actually other games launch with dedicated servers, Ubisoft was being cheap Tying to use peer to peer ,I agree that is a hard game to balance ,but there is so many factors that make this game hard to like ,I really want to ,but player base and the unbalance issues are horrible,it's lost potential

I love ubisofts mocap. Every game they've had that features hand to hand combat has had amazing animation quality. Assassins Creed 3, Assassins creed unity, splinter cell blacklist, ghost recon future soldier, and For Honor all had amazing animations.
Devs need to do a collaboration.
Ubisoft does the stunt animations, Naughty Dog with the graphic design and general player movements (the subtle stuff they're good at, plus the animation blending), and Kojima working the story.
Oh, and rendered in Frostbite 4.

Seem to me like they're putting more effort into the look of the game rather than the toxic, unbalanced, and unhonorful gameplay and playerbase. I love the game but find myself getting more angry than having fun while playing. I hope either in the future or if a sequel releases it's better because it has potential and I love the concept.
