Great reaction Folks! De Musica Ligera means From Light Music. Último concierto= The Last Concert. It was in 1997. Ten years later, in 2007 the band reunited again performing a legendary concert "Me verás volver" that is "You'll see me come back", a real gem, which I warmly recommend you to react to each somg. Some recommendations: Prófugos, En la Ciudad de la Furia, Persiana Americana, No Existes, etc etc. The greatest Spanish speaking band ever! Admired by Chris Martin of Coldplay, who always sings some of their songs when he comes to Argentina. Unfortunately the band leader, vocalist and guitarist, Gustavo Cerati passed away in 2014, due to a brain accident, after a long struggle. This was the last song, in the last live concert (1997), of Soda Stereo as a band. That's why Gustavo gets emotional. After this, Gustavo began a succesful solo career, before they reunite for the Gira Me Verás Volver (tour of 2007) which has maybe the best live versions of every hit from Soda ever.

To give you some context guys: This was called "El ultimo Concerto" (the last concert) because the band split up in 1997 after this concert. This was played at the River Plate stadium (where Coldplay or AC/DC recorded their DVDs, among other musicians). They came back in 2007 with their tour "Me veras volver" (You will see me come back). This is their most commercial song, I personally would love you to react to "En la ciudad de la furia" live at the Me veras volver tour.

Wow 3700 views in just 14 hours ! This video de Soda is emblematic. It is the last live song that the band officially played, since that concert was the farewell concert, the band dissolved forever. That's why I think it was absolutely necessary for any Soda Stereo reacters to react to this video. Great choice !! Soda Stereo is one of my favoutite bands ever. That was their last concert (though they re united ten years later to record a live album with all their hits )
They closed the concert with this song. The "Gracias totales" that Gustavo said at the end ,has become an iconic phrase ('cause the Word "totales" is not usually used after "gracias"). So it is very common among some people to use it in every day situations 😊... Greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾

Love this reaction! Soda were the music of my youth. I was your age Dashy, taking a cassette tape in my one bag of personal things I was able to take when moving to a new country. Everything was new, but I still had my music. I jumped and danced around like everyone there in that concert, but in my room far away from everything I knew. I am so glad to see the joy in your faces hearing this song for the first time. It has brought so much joy to me throughout my life over over 30 years.

Thank you. Soda Stereo is considered the best Spanish-speaking rock band. In particular, Gustavo Cerati is considered one of the best artists of all time.
He died on 4th September, 2014. However, he gave the audience his last concert on 15th May, 2010. That time he finished his soloist tour called "Fuerza Natural" in Caracas, Venezuela. Some minutes after the show, he suffered from a terrible stroke. Four years later, he passed away.
His legacy is still un our lives.
