Yes, that a very fair point. Many players are very happy with chalks such as Triangle and Master at under .50c a cube. There are some advantages of the more expensive chalks, but it's hard to justify the massive price jump for many. It all comes down to personal choice. Great video. I was a top player from the early 90’s & always played master but the last week have gone back and forth playing triangle then master on every shot. Getting ready to order more. Both are pretty clean, master seems a bit more grainy & both played pretty good & I play a lot of english and chalk about every other shot or more so on action shots. Very interesting on your draw shot test that triangle held up a few draw shots better. Both great chalks and very cost effective! Do you know if triangle come in 2 green colors like master. Spruce color with is a little darker seems to match my simonis better? Cheers
Hey Tom, great to hear from you, thank you for you input! Yes, Master and Triangle and close but definitely have their differences. Noticed just a few weeks ago at the Snooker Masters that Ronnie O'Sullivan is still using Triangle and not moved over to Taom V10 (and he won the Masters, again!) You are right, from a value perspective both chalks are pretty much unbeatable. So, so cheap, but very capable. Looking at the Tweeten catalogue, it appears that both Master and Triangle appear to come in three shades of green: Green, Forest and Spruce. Hope that helps 👍
I think my triangle chalk is fake chalk. it comes with black color and miscues like every other shots😂.. i thought it's my stroke or something... When i try the pub master chalk i drawshots like pro... Lollll i should found the original one but how to tell?
I use this chalk. My favourite. I could buy some Kamui or Taom but, why? Works well.

@@AverageJoesPool I just don't see spending $20-$30 on a chalk, if I'm not going to be winning World Championships.
In this chalk taom pyro, only soft or medium tip is suitable. And hard tip is harder to chalk and rubs poorly.

I've heard of these types of copies before. Of all things in the world, why copy a .50c chalk? Amazing what these companies will copy!
