Hey Joe. I think I didn't hit enter when I tried to comment. I just did this test with CPBA tournament blue cloth, and could only get 1 5/16" stretch. I'm 200 plus pounds, and pulled with all my might. Does a calculated stretch index of 9/16" sound correct?

I realize this is an older video, but I just saw it. The "feature presentation" music at the beginning is totally brilliant and I wish I'd thought of it first. To get back on topic, I used Master chalk for almost four decades, but I cannot deny that some of the new chalks made by Taom are so clean and so long-lasting that I can't ignore them. I eagerly await Tweeten unveiling a clean, but grippy chalk. That would be the best of both worlds.

Hey, Joe. My backing is 3/4 " plywood. What length of staples should I be using?

For me, the slightly more conical taper is a plus, making for a more solid hit.

Does the design allow for a screw in extension, presumably needing a female thread part to be installed too, or is it limited to the bulkier push on type? I've recently changed from mostly playing on 7ft (8ball) to 9ft tables (and 9ball) and want to buy a replacement to my 30yr old cue which I don't want to modify to allow for an extension. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I bought this cue because of this review. I'm used to shooting with a 650 dollar cue but the pin got damaged and body is warped so I want to see how this one compares

I bought a Schmelke True Stroke cue back in about 1982, and aside from a small ding or two, it is still just as nice as it was new. Paid about $85.00 for it back then, and have never thought of replacing it. I like all the info given about the Valhalla here, except for the China part.

TV colors are soooooooo stupid. Especially considering that they were put forth in the days of CRT TVs and three gun video cameras that required extremely high brightness room lighting to work. Modern cameras can "see" all the way down to a dimly lit room AND they get the colors right. So, GAWDDAMNIT, these STUPID TV balls are NO LONGER NEEDED ANYWHERE in the the entire world of video production! Continuing to make them, much less use them has to be one of the most stupid things the sport ever did, much less KEPT IN PLACE. It is TRULY STUPID.

have you considered reviewing a custom made cue? there are several custom cues made in Indonesia and they are actually pretty sweet, ranging from 100$ - 700$

It’s a good cue for beginners but I don’t recommend advanced players to play with it. I have one and was missing shots with english. Bought a mezz a few weeks later and shooting lights out. I’m an advanced player who normally play with customs. It has high deflection.

Do you think you could do a video on either making an outdoor pool table or converting a pool table to be used outdoors. Different (waterproof cloths) different sides, avoiding materials that would that or degrade in the outdoors etc

The rating given was totally fair.

Realistically, if a cue is straight, solid, and has a good tip on it, there's not much more you can ask of a cue. If you're paying upwards of $300 for any cue, you're paying for exotic wood inlays, exotic artwork, the mystic of a private cue maker, or just the name of a cue making company. You will not play better with a $1200 cue than you will with a $100 cue, even if you think you will.

I have this same cue bro and let me just say i will never get rid of it. I have been playing with it for the longest time and love it. It has made me so much money. I genuinely think it is the best cheap cue you can get. If you see this and you aren’t sure bro trust me when i tell you it is worth it. I have been able to do everything you can think of with it. Well worth it. Had to speak on this cue😂

Great series and love the movie clips added in! Funny, SVB prob couldn’t recreate the exact same results of the pocketed two in 10 tries. Sometimes lightning strikes in a bottle lol
