    My wife ripped ours off when backing out of the garage and the door had stalled half way up. Once we finally got the part and I had some time to fix it. It took me about 2 hours and we saved about $700 in labor. THANK YOU for the help!

    I wanted to add another comment after completing this project. Let me say that this is a wonderful video that saved me a lot of money. If I had to do it all over again I would do two things additionally. I would begin by taking the seats out. I ended up taking the bottom seat and side pods out but it would have only been a couple minutes more to do all the seats and it can be done in 10 minutes. Once you take the seats (and side pods) out then the removal/install of the side panels is a lot easier. On the rear "deck", the front of the deck has plastic holders that overlap the piece it hooks into - kinda of pull down, back then up. Then the rest is held in by green plugs. Ouch. It doesn't have to come all the way out. There is an entry door on top but you have to have very small hands to use it. The tuner plug has only one side that depresses so you can press and pull. I would also remove the front two panels where the SRS buttons are located on the center posts. Do exactly as you do the earlier SRS button then up and out. It would have been so much easier if that access door was a little bigger! Thanks to Fahrenheit for this video.

    First, this is an extremely helpful video. I damaged my antenna mast and have to replace it. The cost for just replacing the antenna was quoted at $500 in Akron and $1000 in Cleveland. The cost of the antenna assembly itself from both dealership was an additional $99. That tells you what this video may be worth to you. I am in the midst of the project right now and will order the part tomorrow. I have completed everything back to the back plug. I am not sure exactly what you did to take that left cushion off. It looks to me like the bottom seat has to be taken off to unfasten a bolt. Is that correct? Can it be reached by going through the trunk? Thanks for your valued input.

    Great idea via our last video... lol. Now add that rear window visor. Also when I do my roof I’m just going to buy a black antenna Instead of wrapping it. Personally.
    Also if you drop the headliner and pull the wire harness away from frame/tape, shouldn’t that give you enough room to unplug the wire from the antenna rather then taking the whole wire harness from the car??

    • @migeru_
      @migeru_ Před 4 lety

      Why spend more money and invest time? just do the wrapping over the antenna, u can spend that money on other things for the car

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  Před 4 lety +1

      You can’t unplug anything from the antenna. It’s a solid piece with a long harness, the only way to get it out of the way is to get it free from the car. I spent a solid 15 minutes thinking about the issue once I came across it. Honda should have made the harness separate from the antenna but nope...

    • @Honda_life_2020_
      @Honda_life_2020_ Před 4 lety

      LudacrisKillHD I’m not going to complain over $120. And the time and effort makes up for the few dollars you’ll spend. To me at least. Plus I guess you can rip it apart again when you have to re-wrap it. SMH

    • @Fahrenheit_Motorsports
      @Fahrenheit_Motorsports  Před 4 lety +1

      I will say wrapping the antenna was an absolute bitch. It took a lot of time and a few breaks because I wanted to throw the antenna at the wall 😂
      But to be fair, I’ve only ever wrapped my truck so I’m not the most skilled. I’m just happy I knocked out the roof by myself. 🤙🏽
