I think my favorite leader ever was General Kallani. The fact that he was smart enough to survive on his own after the Clone Wars was just incredible
Just finished the Onderon Arc of TCW and I can say that he’s my second favorite separatist general next to Trench
Mine too. It took me a while to realize he was the same droid as the one in Rebels, but once I did it made me love him so much

Battle of Mustafar [Space] "Preventive Measures"
"Although the Clone Wars were over, some people never seemed to get the message. The worst case of denial was Gizor Dellso, a Geonosian Separatist who'd somehow escaped Lord Vader's efforts to wipe out the remnants of the CIS. Lord Vader tracked him to Mustafar, and brought us in to finish the job. It seemed like a simple enough mission, but when we saw the fleet of droid ships, hovering over the planet, we suddenly realized that Delso's denial mechanisms were a little more dangerous than we'd imagined."
"The slight whiff of nostalgia the 501st had enjoyed fighting the droid fleet over Mustafar had already grown sour by the time we'd established orbital positions. Now it was time to find out what this was all about."

"By the time we'd made our way to the molten surface of Mustafar, it was apparent that Dellso had been a busy little bug. All by his lonesome, he'd found a previously hidden droid factory, fired it up and cranked out his own private army of battle droids. Needless to say, this got the men of the 501st...a little hot under the helmet, and not just because of all that lava. Truth be told we'd all had our fill of those gear heads during the war, and we couldn't stomach the thought of going through another one. So we blew them up. Blew up the droids, blew up the factory, damn near blew up the planet."

When I hear of Tarkin's cruelty in the Empire, I wonder what was he like in the Republic outside of the very few times we got to see him in the Clone Wars show. Was he doing these terrible things then but covering it up or was he actually serving the Republic like other generals?
I think his time with the republic pushed him to what we saw in rebels and the original trilogy. He saw the republic as weak, corrupt and ineffective. There are a great many generals throughout history who started off decent enough, but eventually succumbed to easy control via horrible methods.

I’ve always thought about this. They’ve just sorta… disappeared. Anakin killed all the leaders so I guess that explains the fall of the army.
Yes. There is a scene of Anakin and sidious, sidious was like “contact the trade federation and shut down the driods”
I enjoy seeing more about the seperatists and the government side of things.
This is an awesome video theory I always just assumed the separatists disappeared or hid themselves after Anakin killed all the leaders, since the empire would wipe them out if ever found due to them being enemies of the republic
13:00 They were not all "Trade Federation leaders". The Trade Federation was just one of the groups that made up the Confederacy of Independent Systems, AKA the Separatist Alliance. The leaders Vader killed were from all the groups; Trade Federation, Techno Union, Banking Clan, etc.

It would be super cool to see some stories from non clone stormtroopers about a terrifying squad of fully operational commando Droids or a utterly hopeless fight against a company of droideka supported by a few squads of super battle Droids
Wish there were more battle droids that survived. Many of the later models were arguably sentient. All they need to survive is maintenance and electricity. What if a fleet went missing and escaped?
What if Yoda arrived to late with the Clones to save the Jedis at Geonosis? Would The Separatists last longer and replace The Empire?
One thing to remember is that Darth sidious (palpatine) was orchestrating the whole war behind the scenes

Could you imagine if Andor shows us exactly what you just talked about? That would be a good show in my opinion
I just watched the clone wars earlier this year, and I absolutely loved the nuance that series depicted about the war. I wish they’d have shown some more of what happened politically and socially to the separatist systems after order 66. Imagine how some of them felt after their shadowy leader revealed himself to be in charge of both sides all along before siding with the enemy and quickly disbanding their army and executing their leaders leaving them literally no option but to surrender or die. They were betrayed the same as the Jedi and the citizens of the republic were. The time between Order 66 and the formation of the Rebel Alliance must’ve been heartbreaking for the individuals living on separatist planets.
Two things:
1: Tarkin and his doctrine of cruelty were the best generator of dissidents in The Empire. Even more than Palpatine.
2: Vader killed the corrupt CIS leaders that even the CIS members hated. I believe it may have been a major reason for a lot of their members to submit to The Empire; a demonstration of Palpatine's claimed desire to eliminate corruption in The Senate. As some of Rome's Emperors demonstrated, a single psycho, but both smart and intelligent, leader in charge is sometimes better than a bunch of corrupt bureaucrats.
We need a live action battle droid, still hoping for a B2 in Mando but a B1 main character would be amazing, also a tactical droid would be amazing, started building a tactical droid to scale but only done the head so far, need more irl references.
Star Wars theory can you cover the topic of General Kalani after he left in rebels? I’ve never found anything about what he did with his squad that he took.

The Antar Atrocity was the name given by the media to an operation undertaken by the Galactic Empire in which Imperial forces, led by Wilhuff Tarkin, carried out arrests, executions, and massacres on Antar 4, as punishment for Antar 4's allegiance to the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
* An Update to this for Jedi Survivor * The Battle Droids were also used by the new Bedlam Raiders, and easily chopped down.

Crimson Dawn reprogrammed the remaining droids. In the new Jedi Survivor game we going to see them!
What if it had been Grevious instead of Dooku that engaged Anakin and Obi-Wan to free the Chancellor. Maybe Dooku would have survived and seen what Palpatine really had in store for him (which was betrayal). Maybe he finds Yoda on Dagobah at some point and comes back to the light side. And/or he joins the rebellion as a High leader alongside Mon Mothma and Bail Organa.
I love to think that the Separatist would've joined the rebellion if Count didnt gather them for the clone wars

Some of those pics from stormtroopers and rebels landing at night under terrible weather is such a good representation of what I would assume to be a majority of the battle in the SW galaxy. We get nice and pretty fluffed wars in the movies, but the reality of war even in sci fi is probably not much different than today. No vision, static and unreliable comms from massive storm systems, a planet nobody has been to, trying to exit the vehicle quickly as possible so you dont get gunned down, the only things visible are lightning and blaster bolts and you are trying to find or keep up with your squad in the chaos and friends fall all around you. Man SW has so much potential to be outstanding and instead we got Rey Cringewalker and Reva: The Annoying One

What if Chancellor Palpatine wasn’t a Sith Lord, but instead a very strategic mind with a genius level intellect? He would still be an ally to the Sith, but what if his plan destroyed both the Sith and Jedi while creating the Empire
Makes me wonder what couldve been if the sequel trilogy was structured in the following way; Two states 1. The New Republic and 2. The New Confederacy are in a cold war with each other while the First Order is more of a terrorist organization trying to start another full blown war.

I think Star Wars Battlefront II game (campaign mode) touch on that subject by explaining the Post-Clone Wars Era when The New Galactic Empire quell the rest of what was left of The Separatists, who were now known as "The Droid Rebellion", and destroy the Droid facility on Mustafar and killed the Genesoian leader.

I am a zookeeper in chicago and I regularly feed the hippos day old sausages so they have a taste of their home. I put strings on the sausages and swing them around the hippos they get so mad at me and scream but it's an obsession sometimes the hippos try and break out of their cages but I keep swinging those hotdogs in wide circles over their heads. Luckily my boss doesn't know I do this or my coworkers
