What with cosmetic procedures such as buccal fat removal, those with face fat have been left feeling insecure in themselves.
Well I'm here to remind you that although your face may not be trending right at this moment, you will! Your time will come! Hold on to that buccal fat my girls, because round, cherubic faces are so beautiful. Gorgeous women such as Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez ALL have full faces, and they are some of the world's most stunning women. With their buccal fat intact and all. Having face fat, or indeed a fat face, is not an insult - on the contrary, you will likely age slower, stay looking youthful and glowing for longer, and you'll never have to enlist the help of a cosmetic injector to give you fuller cheeks!

Ironic that you're insulting the looks of people who chose to change something they were insecure about. "it's okay to compliment someone on the original looks" is unkind. Imagine seeing someone and saying "oh I liked your old face" What if THEY think they look good? What if their insecurity from being bullied gave them dysmorphia and they are all messed up about their looks?
You're doing exactly what the bullies do, saying negative things about someone's looks.
Maybe make a video about how you should keep negative comments about people's looks to yourself?

I find it funny that this video is full of round face people happy because it makes them look younger… so we are all here still obsessing over aging aka looks. It’s not hopeful to say wait until the day your face trends, we shouldn’t focus on that because one day that fat will sag, then girlies that we’re happy about chubby faces bc made them look younger will need the bone structure to support, the loop never ends. Let’s be neutral about looks.

100% needed to hear this. I have a round face that I have always been self conscious of. I have always been envious if my friends that have a rectangular or heart shaped face. To this day i hate wearing my hair back because i feel it just emphasises the roundness. I have often toyed with the idea of getting buccal fat removal. Seeing this video with all of these round faced beauties helps me appreciate what I have. Particularly seeing the stunning women that have opted for the surgery. It changes so much about their appearance and I don't feel it is for the better. I would rather keep my fat face than look too gaunt, especially now as I'm getting older. It may have taken me 40 years to see my face fat as a blessing, but better late than never!

I've always had a round face and a very thin body. I honestly never paid attention to it that much until people started pointing it out. When I finally started gaining some weight, my face got more rounded and people called me different names (saying I look like a lollipop or matchstick etc) which made me very insecure and caused me to have an eating disorder(causing my weight to go down from 50kg to 42kg). I am trying and recovering now, but I'm still underweight (45 kgs at 5'4) and still scared to gain weight in case it makes my face rounder. So I've been looking to try masseter botox since it's not permanent and feel like it might help with my eating disorder as well. Yes, it does make me look younger(people often mistake me to be in my teens or early 20s, when I'm almost 30) but I also get a lot of insults thrown at me. It's just sad.(Sorry for the long rant)

So, as someone who had buccal fat removal due to dentist recommendation, I gotta say there are ways to get the procedure done without becoming "weird". I still have a round face with full cheeks but now I don’t bite my cheeks from the inside anymore. My buccal fat didn’t come out easily, it was actually very soft and started breaking into tiny little pieces. So the dentist (here in Brazil dentists do the surgery and I think it’s better) only removed 2ml of fat from each side of my face. I had the procedure in 2018, I was 33

I think she may have gotten this done too. He and I talk about beauty trends and standards often and essentially what I’ve gleaned from conversations is this; when we women look at ourselves, we look for, hone in on and obsessed over our perceived flaws. When men look at us, they see us in the most flattering way their brains can conjure. They are literally looking for reasons to find women attractive. I think if we could see ourselves through men’s eyes we might be much easier on ourselves. I know I would if I could see me the way my boyfriend does.

When I was early twenties, I was very insecure about having a round or “baby” face and even researched buccal fat removal. Now at 27, I am so happy I let it be, since aging naturally decreases the fat in your face and many people who do get this surgery at a young age have to pump in extra fillers later so they don’t look like a skeleton. Face fat despite not being “attractive” right now is a natural filler and helps your face look good as you age.
Also with the way beauty trend change, most likely we only need to wait a decade before round faces are the next big thing and all the girlies are running to get filler to get the “Selena circa 2023” look

    • @rba4377

      I. I think the point is not to obsess over features, one day something is in and then is out. Our bodies are not trends and aging shouldn’t be seen as bad.

I hated being in pictures, cause when I saw random pics friends took of me and saw that the hair trick didn't work out and I just saw how I looked so unhappy and that even my cheeks looked thicker. And I HATED to go outside if It just blew a little bit cause it would blew the hair out of my face and show everything that I tried to hide. It was the WORST on the beach...
A friend I had back in the days, even had the audacity to make me feel worse when she removed my hair out of my face to reveal of how I actually looked,... she gasped, shook her head and shivered her whole body. That was it for me. I died inside. I still hate her for it to this day.
She hurt me so bad. It actually gave me more trauma that even made my life worse. I felt so ugly that I begged to god (that I didn't even believe in) every night before school, to please let me die in my sleep. I was exhausted and sick of my depression, I didn't feel the need to live anymore, I thought I didnt deserve to be alive. And as you said. I searched on Google on how to remove face fat and so on. But it never gave me any hope of course. Especially when I already was a skinny person.
I got good help at the psychiatrist with good medications and got diagnosed with social anxiety and depression with ocd.
But the years passed on and I began to accept myself and tried to become mentally healthy. And I did, now at age 25, I'm healthy and happy! I have my hair even up in buns and even with hairbands to sweep the hair OUT of my face. I never thought I could do that when I was younger.
Today, I emprace my face with my genes that gives me a healthy looking and happy face, with a big beautiful smile. My boyfriend loves my smile and my face with my eyes. I never thought again that someone would love me that way. I feel so pretty and beautiful! I still though have bad days ofc, but that's normal!
I see this "trend" going on and it kinda triggers my trauma and with this video, u give me hope to stay in touch with myself and not harming myself that way again. I will never let society try to bring me down once again. Thank u for cheering me up, u even cheered the 16year old in me, It helped to heal my past even more. Thank u Stephanie for doing these kind of videos!! Thank u, thank u sm!! ❤️

Thank you so much for making the content you do. You’re really changing lives out here.
I was just talking to my boyfriend the other day about how even when I haven’t been eating well and lose weight everywhere else (I struggle to get in enough meals due to sensory issues and nausea), my face is still round and chunky looking. It’s always been something I’ve struggled with feeling self conscious about and seeing this video helped me see things from a different perspective. Perhaps it’s my round face that has everyone I meet thinking I’m a teenager when I’m actually pushing 30 😅

Very much needed this video!🙏 I've been feeling a bit insecure about my puffy face due to a steroid I had to be on so this has reached my heart and made me feel loved and valued thanks so much!🤗🥰💖

Puffy faces are so youthful. My dad in his 70s had a puffy face as a side effect of his anti rejection meds (steroids included) after his kidney transplant. He used to joke how great his skin and face looked and I def agreed. I miss him. Stay beautiful ❤

Thank you, Stephanie, for another lovely video! I love that you are always spreading the message of loving yourself especially now that we are constantly flooded with "perfectionism" on social media. I am having my morning cup of coffee here on a Saturday morning in Japan and your video brought a smile on my face. I have a feeling it's going to be a good day! Best wishes to you and your follwers

Almost wanted to cry tears of joy because I've been insecure about my face shape for so long, I can never feel confident without having two strands of hair fall on my face to somehow make it look "thinner", Thank you Ms.Stephanie Lange

Thank you. I have so much to be grateful for…yet the constant bombardment of beauty standards about chubby cheeks has really gotten to me lately.
This message was such a blast of bright encouragement to keep my head up and stay focused on things that really matter.
    Thank you.
