Great work on this one Marko! The Duoface offers one of the coolest "wow factors" in all the industry from a mainstream brand. Although some of the independents you cover give it a run for its money, it is still a great conversation starter and one of my favorites. Keep up the good work buddy!

I have this exact model, plus 3 straps. It's one of those flawless watches. Goes with absolutely any clothing, even t-shirt and jeans. Looks discreet and distinguished at the same time, simply due to its shape. Changes personality entirely depending on which dial you have on and the strap choice. Second time zone with night/day indicated is thoroughly useful, basically a GMT. A great conversation piece, just flick the watch on some excuse and people go "Wow." And unlike previous Reverso models, you can adjust the extra time zone AND remove the strap AND even the buckle with no tool.

Accurate review. I've got exactly the same watch (and the same wrist size). Two things I would add.
People stay away from the large because they think it's too big from the photos. Phone cameras up close will make the watch look bigger than it actually is. I'd suggest trying it out and seeing for yourself.
The second thing is that the straps have quick release springbars. The deployant clasp is also very easy to remove. This means that you can change straps very easily and get a whole new look. For example, a black leather strap makes this a lot more formal.
This watch works well with any number of straps and is well worth considering.

Hey Marko, great video! I am not into watches, somehow youtube pointed me here and I am glad. I am not looking at other channels, but yours is great as even I am not so much into watches, I enjoy your videos
I think there may be a small error in this video. I think this watch is limited to 20m not 30m. Inscription on it says 3 bar, and you get that on 20m because on the surface we have 1bar and for each 10m we get approximately 1 extra bar. So it would be 1 atmospheric + 10m + 10m = 3 bars = 20m
Or correct me if I am wrong :) ? Thanks for awesome videos! I hope you make a few more videos with microscope!! :)

The only way the travel time dial makes sense is if you wanted to see if it was day or night at the place you are intending to travel to.
When you arrive at your destination, the 24 hour dial is pointless; you can tell if it is day or night.
Of course, you can make the black dial home time and the white dial travel time (local). You would have to adjust the white dial to your destination, and then use the slider to adjust the hours to back home. If you wanted to check what the time was back home, you would have to flip the dial. A bit of a long process if you ask me.
The automatic model Q3838420 makes more sense: On the main dial, you can see local time & also if it is day or night back home. A shame that it is so thick.

I used to like Grande Date Reverso way back when. Now the new hybris mechanica and the gyrotourbillon are nice. But unfortunately, to-date none of the reversos got me to the point where I would actually buy them. And I LOVE JLC! Also, I kind of like the original concept of having the solid back to protect the watch but being that such watches are very simple, they dont inspire me... I dont like the duoface versions at all

Thanks for your input Alexander, always good to hear from the opposite side as well. To some extent I can also relate to you.

Its a "Mullet watch." Buisness in the front. Party in the back.

The Hamilton Otis is another reverso watch

1:43 another one would be the Tag Heuer Monaco sixtynine that have three hand at the front, digital at the back. Also defunct brand De Grissogono Doppio, and also the Universal Geneve Cabriolet which as well have its reversing mechanism being adopted by many brands ever since. Another reverso-like mechanism also adopted by Omega in their Equinox models. Lastly, the Harry Winston Opus 4 by Christophe Claret and the Patek Philippe Grand Chime. Well fun fact, Patek Philippe also got their own reverso aside from Hamilton that made during the era.

so overpriced. I hope the Chinese engineers finally pay attention and make one for $50 with modern quartz movement which makes it even more reliable.

Think u need to go back further in history. The first reversible watch was done by Universal Geneve in the 1928 to 1929 era. Called the Cabriolet. That Cabrio that you featured is a poor representation of that innovation.
