- This just a Basic Daily driver on Trails funny enough! I take it for rides on nice warmer days for fun. I think running 42t rear and such not so much crazy speed build for me. Lots of people buy those cast iron jugs and drill out the holes. Use 8m stud from motorized bicycle stuff and blah blah blah! They can on these Athena topends! You will hit the ports inside. So this how you adapt 6m studs to a 8m bottom half without plugging holes and all conversion studs you can't ever find online. Minarelli motorized bicycle builds are very nice once you get one running. Aluminum though is the way to go if you don't want all the crazy cold seizure crap that destroys your build shortly after few rips. RIP is only words you be hearing when it cold seizures. You can build that 800$ kit on ebay for under 200$ So understand this. Most think I hate minarellis! I do not and i have built a under 200$ minarelli. whole playlist if that is your goal on my channel for it! IF you want one that runs and will last! Keywords "LAST" Aluminum is only way to go if you need more information why! be more than glad to explain thermal dynamics to yeah of how steel expands slower than aluminum! Infact buy a cast iron one WOT it 35 seconds and you will understand the principle very well LOL ¯\(°_o)/¯

I promise my guy your words a Bible to me you seem to be the most informative person I have seen on CZcams for these bikes
That was the goal lol. I wanted to make videos people could visualize and see instead of rambling about it and jumping to run video. I post my failures and fixes along the way like the turbo build. Never learn anything unless you work out the bugs others see that part. Some you learned that works you pass on!
That’s very smart they act as dowels pins😎😎
Yes sir! Exactly 👍
Looks awesome brother
Ty ty 🔧😜✌️
Good video brother thanks for sharing it great motor
🍺😜✌️
Those are a very brital materiel so be carful maybe I got cheap thread reducers but still
Well if you twist them in with a screwdriver 🪛 they snap! Special tool actually used. Easy way to not break them twisting some in tight! Put a nut on a bolt. Spin one onto the bolt. Tighten the nut down. Use the bolts head to screw in the insert. Use a wrench on bolt and nut release the nut and unspin the bolt. Only way to drive them in tight without the special tool special tool supports inside of the incert not allowing it to fold and crack as you drive it in. Like the bolt does
Is the head in correct position? Really nice solution.
Yes for a minarelli vertical head it is. I know looks odd but the engine on a moped is 90 degrees clocked from a bicycle mounted one.
@@BuildBreakFix all right, understood. Nice.
AliExpress has 50cc aluminum cylinder for 42.59 + 16.89 shipping have you tried their aluminum 50 minareill i was wondering if it is good or not
Why did you not use CNC head from 80cc bike for this build is the stock head better
Yes I have. They are cast iron in that price range
Hey bro, do you have any parts that you cud spare for a simple china doll? I just need a piston and jug if you cud possibly consider i can affird shipping.
There literally 35$ whole thing on amazon
Where do you buy these?!
Linked in description
hey brother what was them little stud things and how do the hold the motor on
Description has links
They are 8m threads outside. 6m threads inside
ok u have links true but I'm dumb as all get out to that I just learned this year u could leave messages on u tube LMBO
@user-wn2dn4us4b "No question is stupid. The only question unasked to learn new things can make you stupid". Albert Einstein said that one of the smartest people of his time in science. Yet couldn't read or write even lol so you're ahead of the game
😉✌️
Did you put the head on wrong?
nope thats the correct way
@@stlrob21 let's let him say if it is or not.
Yes it's the correct orientation for a minarelli vertical head to the top end. You have to remember this came off a moped that has a CVT attached to the engine 90 degree turn of how it's mounted on a bicycle 🚲
@@KB_Joys it was said in his prior video lol
@@stlrob21 well maybe I've lost my damn mind, that's a possibility lol
But now imma have to go back and look.
Because I could have sworn he had the head in the other video with the slats on the sides.
I remember thinking yeah, I would put mine on it like that too.
