I’m thankful that you’re actually reasonable and can recognize that Jokić simply has more of an impact for his team. Embiid has a narrative and a much, much larger market pushing for him, and Jokić let off the gas for the last two weeks to almost seemingly let the award go. it sucks everyone wants to tear down the other guys in the race to prove how their guy is better. my guy is Embiid, I think he should win because he's doing something we haven't seen centers do in damn near 30 years, let alone ever. being the back to back scoring champ as a center is insane and he's the first one to do it since Shaq in 99/00 and he's the first center to average over 30 PPG since Moses Malone in 81. his 33 ppg season this year is the most efficient 33 ppg season ever as well. Joel is doing all of this while also being one of the best defenders in the league. there are only 3 teams this season who rank top 10 in offensive rating and defensive rating, one of them being the Sixers. so all of this plus the Sixers having the third best record in the league cements it for me. Embiid is truly doing something we have never seen and it's a shame that people would rather boil it down to narratives and pity rather than appreciating greatness. and we can appreciate how great all of these guys are at the same time, this is just my reasoning for why i'd pick Embiid

This was def the worst Jimmy video by far.
