In this video my family and I take you on a street food tour at a traditional Thai market, Pra Cha Rat Traditional Floating Market in Surat Thani, Thailand and taste test a lot of the food there. There's loads of old style Thai street food at this market that you will be lucky to see at other markets, it's a great market for foodies!

Thai Street Food is delicious and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand ... it’s a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. This video was filmed at the Pra Cha Rat Traditional Floating Market, Surat Thani, Thailand. The market is a very local market and you will find everything there, from fresh food (meat, seafood, fruit & vegetables), to street food, much of it you won’t find in other places; souvenirs, clothes and all other types of local products. The market is also home to a number of cafes and Thai restaurants.
If you are in Surat Thani, this floating market is definitely worth a visit! Make sure you don’t miss the boat tour too!

Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. At the moment my focus is on keeping my family safe. There is a lot of Covid here in Krabi where we live, and in Thailand in general.
As an example this was part of a message I received from a subscriber recently-
I have come to Thailand from the UK for a few weeks touring, have to get on with life at some point! Sadly despite been triple jabbed and not having caught Covid in the UK, I caught it here within seven days of landing.
Additionally Aorn and I have been both very busy with our jobs for a number of months.
We'll be making more videos when it is safe for us to do so, and our schedules allow.
We hope you and your family are doing well 🙂

Thanks Anne. It depends on what you are used to I guess. Aorn grew up in Thailand, which is hot and humid, so she doesn't notice the humidity so much. I grew up in South Australia. Australia is the driest continent on Earth, and South Australia is the driest state in Australia. My body doesn't like humidity :)

Yummy, yummy.... Thank you for making me hungry. Everytime I watch you I have to have a snack to eat or after I watch you. D ont have any snacks today I need to go to Wal-Mart to get some.
Thanks for the boat ride to. If you ever come to my home town I'll take you on my boat for a ride & then we will cut the engine & swim in the middle of the lake. Nothing in are lakes will kill you... lol...
Then we'll go fishing for are dinner & cook it over charcoal on the grill w/lemon, butter, & onions. We will also have fresh corn cooked on the grill & squash, potatoes, onion, & carrots wrapped in foil on the grill.
When we go camping we eat really good. I'll even fry up chicken gizzards, green tomatoes, squash & whatever else I can cook in that deep fryer. Yeep good ole camping cooking.
We have 2 boats, so we all can go together. We'll have to pitch tents, bc our camper is leaking & we're going to have to fix the roof before we can use it. But it only sleeps 3 maybe your if someone sleeps on the floor. It's not very big @ all only a 8'x24' camper. Very small, but it was great for are family of 4. My daughter always slept in a tent. I don't know why but she liked to set it up & slept in it. She's a regular little tom boy like her mother... She's just like me. Even looks like me. Don't know if this world is ready for the 2 of us..... lol.... She's around 24 now & is coming back to Mom & Dad's here in a few weeks. They move away & realize they miss us being only 30 minutes away from us. They can run to Mom's & get food, wash their clothes or take a warm shower. Yeep they come home. My Mom lives right behind me in the woods. I came back home to my Mommy.... lol....
Yes, Mom's are special. I live in my grandparents house that my grandpa built, he was a carpenter & a dang good one @ that. When my grandma pasted away. My Mom bought out her siblings, bc they gave my Mom 5 acres to build her house. She didn't want one of the grandkids, that didn't take care of anything, to end up w/it & trash it & the 2 1/2 acres.
Then I moved in & started paying rent. Never missed a payment for 12 years. Then I bought it from her after I got the rent money to 40% down payment. Now it's mine & I worked hard for it. It's only a 2 bedroom 2 bath house. Nothing special. Except my grandparents built it. And it's darn special to me.
It's only me & my husband now so we don't need something huge.

The food is more safe then the water, just be sure , only to drink water from bottle not from can, thais can drink it and maybe we can to but sometimes we can be very sick from it, and I think mostly thais also want water from bottle just to be sure...
Can I ask is there other things to look on out there.........
