    Any hacks to sorting and storing different conditioned cards of the same card? e.g. You have 12 of the same pikachu, 8 nm 3 lp and 1 hp. Do you sort them in that order or just check condition when they sell?

    Quick question: I just sorted my last supply of bulk and I've found a few cards worth $1-$10, but they're foreign cards. Maybe 40 in total. Of those 40, 3 of them are German with German text, and the rest are Japanese and Korean. How do I go about listing those on TCG if I can't find them in the search or write specific notes on the listing?

    I’m autistic as hell and all of my 3” D ring binders are chronologically organized, as are my ETBs that I repurposed to hold my bulk. All tabs and dividers have info on the set, symbol, date of release, # of cards, and abbreviations. All cards in each set are penny sleeved in numerical order. I’m OBSESSED with organizing cards, wish I could do it as a job 😭

    • @derekdearborn9063
      @derekdearborn9063 Před 2 měsíci

      You can. Organizing cards is the bulk sellers life.
      Start by buying a few thousand bulk cards at $0.01 a unit or less and get listing. In a few months worth of weekends you will know if you want to keep doing it.

    Yo!!! I was the guy that bought a bunch of judges from you a while back! Hope it’s going good, hey do you separate your holo/reverse holos from your lists? I was thinking of a second/third 5k ct box for those but I am just not sure, kinda new and in a room with about 15k cards still being sorted! Those bcw sorting trays are a must because you can put the cards inside one and stack another on top to preserve as you’re working through it. Cheers

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  Před rokem

      Thanks for supporting my store! I'm doing well. I don't separate by rarity. I keep them separate, but in the same area. For example, if I have 15 judges and 2 are reverse, ill put the two reverse holos in front of the other 13 judges. But they are still in the same place.

  • @yangsue07

    Do you ship all singles in top loader or no? I've ordered singles between $0.50 to $30 there isn't any consistency of how sellers ship my cards. Ie: $0.50 in top loader, $20 card in top loader, but then the espeon gx is sleeved and taped between two cardboard in a pwe. Most of the time, they're just packed in a small envelope with the invoice wrapped around it as protection...

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  Před rokem

      For over $20, I ship with a top loader. For under $20, I use cardboard sleeves and tape. It will vary by seller.

  • @rmichaud47

    Wait? There exists an actual card sorting machine? What's its limits, cost, and does it work for any tcg? I sell on Ebay a particular collectible cards that aren't on tag player, unfortunately. I used to own a small business of selling Pokémon, Yugioh, and Magic with my Ex, but felt it was too time consuming and too much competition from other sellers to make it worth my time as a side hustle

  • @digismithytcg

    Are you TCG Player Direct? I just got to Seller Level 4 by speedrunning to it, but now I don't know what direction I want to take now lol. I haven't looked in to it yet, but I heard you need like 3000 unique listings for TCG Player direct? Also, with somebody with an CZcams channel (or at least trying), I sort after I open. I use the BCW card sorter cuz it has like 24 slots so its easy to sort it via ABC order. And naturally, they are buy sets since I normally open when sets come out.

    • @ETCS423
      @ETCS423 Před rokem +1

      I’ve recently hit level 4 two weeks ago and had about 18k in inventory. I was denied Direct but just applied for pro and start putting store info in the order other than the packaging slip. Hopefully it’ll up my returning customers and I’ll apply for Direct again in a few weeks
