    Ry.... Ry, Ry, Ry..... When I tasted the Tajin and noticed the lime flavor and saw everything has lime and/or tajin I though "well shit, this is going to have a very heavy lime taste", but I trusted your judgement and would you know it... it is the best freaking taco I ever had. Even my wife asked me to leave a comment saying how good these are. Thank you for having such an awesome channel Ry =)

    Made this tonight. It was awesome! I substituted the crema Mexicana for sour cream, and I used a flat iron steak. Everyone commented how flavorful and tender it was. Thanks Ry! 👍

    Another great idea/recipe, thanks Ry! This one is on my list of "must makes" now for grilling season. Love the fire roasted corn salsa. That along with the lime crema just makes this perfect. Thanks for sharing!

    We made a slightly modified version of this for dinner. Instead of the steak, we used chicken thighs, and we left out the granulated garlic since we were using chicken instead of beef. This was great! Easy to make, and it tasted awesome we'll definitely keep this recipe on hand.

    Hey Ry. Thanks for my Saturday plans. This looks amazing. Could you perhaps do a video smoking something (ribs?) using only the base weber kettle without accessories? Well, perhaps baskets since those are basic and cheap. Lots of us can't get a vortex or a slow and sear. :)

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  Před 5 lety +1

      I did something just like that with chicken using only a pile of charcoal. But ribs would be a good idea, too :)

    Hi Ry, I see you continue to use the cast iron grate in the Weber. I’ve been thinking about buying one and I see you have a link. Right not I’m using an aftermarket heavy stainless grate and it works ok but I’m a fan of cast for sure. If you wouldn’t mind, could you maybe talk about how it’s made a difference in your cooking experience and why you continue to use it.?
    I really enjoy your channel and I’ve made many things you’ve shown.! Keep it up my friend. Curt

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  Před 5 lety +1

      I really do love that grate. First off, if you like cast iron, you're ready for this, as it takes the same care that a cast iron skillet takes. It retains heat so well that I find there isn't a big lag in the temp coming back up after you remove the lid to adjust what your cooking. Also, I just like things that are solid. Every bit of it feels like quality. I especially like that the removable wings fit into very sturdy slots that hold them upright at a slight angle when adding more coals or wood.
