Compaired to a x pipe and slip ons how is the power on these 2into1 systems. Seems like it would be worth spending a little bit more for the whole pipe set up and lighter too I assume. Just don’t wanna loose any bottom or mid range Any thoughts that you share would be greatly appreciated.
DAVE ARGENTINA a proper 2:1 with a merge collector will consistently make more power than the x-pipe slip on bike
I also just noticed that the factory style exhaust flanges are different. I’m sure this is to increase flow but could the stock fined ones also be fitted? Or maybe Modified to make fit? Just trying to cover all the bases man. Thanks again for answering
DAVE ARGENTINA it uses a regular stamped steel style flange. Stock ones can’t be reused
180 degree exhaust hook up (balanced pipe length or not) will add torque output.It is standard exhaust manifold layout on small engine cars for decades. Sundquist Norton youtube
