Thanks for the sharing ,, a little note,, mite hatch and breed every 5-6 days ,, so s76 is great for this ,, treat water every 5-6 days for a few week in a row to get it under control and every 3-4 months for maintenance,, cleaning cages is a must ,,, never count on the products to do all the work,,, thanks again 💪👊🐣
S76 main ingredient is Ivermectin with Slippery Elm root. While SCATT has moxidectin as the main ingredient. I find moxidectin more stable and longer lasting then S76. Also way cheaper.
Hi Shane , now the breeding season is over how did the moxidectin trial go , was it any good , and many thanks for the interesting videos , keep them coming.
Thanks for the tips Shane, I was reading that young greenfinch chicks should be given sulphur supplements until the first moult . Do you recommend it and can you name a product please?
I have a pigeon I rescued last summer. I think he has bugs of some sort. He does what I call the bug dance. He twitches/stomps/frantically stabs at his feathers. He will see something to eat. I don't even want to know what that was. I am treating him with scalex and using DE where he hangs out.
Do you find that giving your birds S76 once a month, will keep external parasites at bay? I only use it for airsac mites, and i use much more frequent dosing for treatment. For external parasites i use SCATT, but it is an tedious process giving your birds one drop each. THX and Regards from Denmark ;)
