    I'm going to have to disagree on putting Oladipo over Reggie Miller. Miller practically led his team to the NBA finals back in 2000, and also took Shaq and Kobe to 6 games. He also made 8 points in 9 seconds, while all Oladipo has managed to do is get injured and get a few all-star appearances. He just hasn't done anything in his career yet to prove that he is the best SG in Pacers history.

      Warriors are BUNS bro. Steph Curry and Klay built their careers off of Andrew Bogut’s perimeter screens and draymond and Iggy’s combined basketball IQ. All those players separate on their own teams, they would never have a chance at a title again. Some other great “all time” teams it’s a different story in that department. ‘16-‘19 Warriors in ‘89-‘98’s NBA would’ve been injured and swept in the playoffs if they even would’ve even made it that far. this is just recency bias on his part. The Pacers stuff was insanity but after that I think the team that he got the most wrong with the Pistons. Bob Lanier was great but I would find a way to move lambir or Ben Wallace in there. If it was me honestly I would go Rodman-SF Laimbeer-PF Wallace-c
      If you wanted to argue to keep Bob Lanier over Wallace, I wouldn't be against that but Wallace had a borderline Hall of Fame career and was the key piece to them winning the title in 2004. I believe he was Defensive Player of the Year that year.
      And I'm sorry, I know there's a lot of hate out there for Bill Laimbeer, what the guy what is a three-point shooting big man before there was three point shooting big men! He was wildly unathletic that found a way to compensate and turn himself into one of the best defensive big men in the league at the time. He had Furious heart, was the best teammate anyone ever asked for, oh and by the way the guy pretty much averaged 20 and 10 during their big run from about 87 - 90.
      Rodman was one of the best defenders in the league, that special sauce, that glue for that team who can shut down the best player on the opposing team, and grab 20 rebounds tonight, and is in the Hall of Fame already, oh and he has a few championship rings as well. I think you have to find room for at least those two guys if not Wallace as well.

    Pacers all-time starting 5 is actually top-heavy with Hall of Fame championship ABA players, in addition to Reggie:
    SF- Roger Brown
    PF- George McGinnis
    C- Mel Daniels
    PG- Freddie Lewis
    SG- Reggie Miller
    In the NBA, Mark Jackson does rank above the oft-injured Malcolm Brogdon, as does Don Buse. Billy Knight, Clark Kellogg, Herb Williams, would rank higher than Brogdon, Oladipo, and (especially) West. If you're talking total careers, Alex English and Adrian Dantley played here briefly. Finally: lots of other posters below have pointed out the huge WTF factor of ranking Oladipo over Reggie, so I don't have to.
    That said, anyone trying to compose an all-time list for every team in the league is bound to get a lot of blowback from a lot of fans, no matter what the list is. So, fun video and thanks for posting it. :-)

    • @niapor
      @niapor Před 4 lety +14

      actually Kareem was better than Shaq even when it was at the twilight of his career. and he played 4 seasons for the Lakers before Magic was drafted ( between 28 and 31 years in age ) and than played 10 more seasons with Magic as teammate, there are even some that put Wilt ahead of Shaq even when in wilt case is really when he was older and declining in stats ( I do not agree, all time stats Wilt is better but if we compare just Lakers stats, Shaq is better ) and I will go as far as saying Mikan was more dominating "during his time period" in the NBA than Shaq was "during his time period with the Lakers" ( but skills wise Shaq would have super-dominated the NBA if he had played for the Minneapolis Lakers of 1949 to 1956 and Mikan at best would had been in the practice squad of the 2000 lakers )
