      Why Mayweather can't stop running around the four corner of the ring, guy's this isn't a marathon it's a boxing for pound to pound king but he don'ts match with Pacquiao's speed, power and stamina.

    Pacquiao is the best when it comes to the volume, the unique flurries, angles, and combos that come with power. Quick and great counter-puncher. He is truly is one of the best of all time. Mayweather is a very good defensive-style fighter that many of us don't appreciate until we actually try it in boxing. It takes tremendous athletism to keep up with his style and even hard to make it effective. Brutally quick counter-punching and making the best miss. Two of the greats that are definitely going to be regarded as top fighters in the history of boxing. This fight shows what happens when two unorthodox styles fight one another.

    the problem with pac here is that he tried to marquez floyd most of the fight. not saying he is a bad counter puncher hes actually decent at it but he is better as a swarmer, better than castillo and maidana and shouldve done what he did against dela hoya & margarito combining his trademark in and out footwork and swarm against the guy. even the announcers had a problem with his footwork throughout the fight and surprisingly threw lesser punches the whole fight than floyd did. floyd won rds 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 and 12 while pac won rds 4, 6 and 10. rds 8, 9 are even

Pacman still is an active boxer, still improving his legend and by the time he retires he'll eclipse anyone who defeated him with his sheer legacy. Floyd will be remembered as the richest boxer than sold his boxing pride for cash fighting 2 non-boxers, greatest defense and inspiring an entire generation to duck strong opponents and focus on money than the art itself. 5 Things floyd consistently and effectively used to defeat Pacquiao.
    1. The jab to maintain the proper range and distance between them
    2. The straight right hand to the body to slow him down
    3. The pull counter to make Manny pay when he lunges in
    4. Clinching when he is in corners or positions unfavorable to prevent Manny from throwing flurries
    5. Ring generalship to slow down the pace, set traps, and for proper movement to evade shots.

    The fact that Floyd had one of the greatest offensive fighters in the history of boxing almost completely neutralized is amazing. People won't appreciate his skill for another 20 years.

    • @2ky8ninja41
      @2ky8ninja41 Před 4 lety +16

      The fact is Floyd cheated lol. He never neutralized Pac you know why? because Pac never backdown from Floyds punches. Floyd on the other hand whenever Manny hit him his face would squint and run like a person hurt. Why do you think Floyd sr said Floyd was fighting like a scared man

    • @michaelj450
      @michaelj450 Před 4 lety +22

      alucard odette He neutralized Pacquiao because Pacquiao was failing to cut the ring off and get off the shots he usually does against his other opponents. Floyd baited him into pull counters several times, and Pacquiao kept trying to attack him at a straight line instead of going at him in multiple angles. Once Floyd figured him out it was over, Pacquiao didn’t make the proper adjustments to even make the fight close.
      Idk why Floyd Sr. was pressing Floyd to attack Pacquiao, that’ll be just fighting into his hands. Floyd did a great job

      @@michaelj450 i don't care about who was cutting the ring lol. I based the fight from what normal boxing fan would and that is "effective aggression". Floyd caught Pacquiao clean but put in mind Pacquiao always ran through his punches and got Floyd on the ropes. Pacquiao rocked Floyd in round 4 but did Floyd ever put pressure? Heck even Floyd's father was saying he was fighting like a scared man lol

    • @2ky8ninja41

      @@michaelj450 and also why are there videos of slow mo about this fight? If Floyd won convincingly none of those videos would have been made lol. one more thing the judges had the red corner winning in the score cards. All three of them and guess who was the red corner? it was pacquiao's corner. WHY WOULD ALL 3 JUDGES MAKE THAT MISTAKE?

    • @michaelj450
      @michaelj450 Před 4 lety +4

      alucard odette There are slow mos for a lot of fights, I don’t know what you expect really. Remember this was one of the biggest fights ever, of course people are gonna try to analyze it, but majority of the people who watched it as well as myself firmly believe Mayweather won convincingly.
      If Pacquiao came through more aggressive like how Maidana did or even how Castillo did getting inside and messing up Floyd’s rhythm he would have had a better chance. Most of the time when fighters get aggressive with Floyd inside that’s when they find success. Hatton tried it but he kept rushing in like a bull and got picked apart, I think that’s why Pacquiao didn’t want to run in straight away the whole fight. He saw what Floyd did to Hatton, granted this is a much older Floyd, but still
