May - August 1997 : real start of late 90s culture, still lots of mid 90s remains.
September 1997 - February 1998 last gasp of core 90s culture, almost pure late 90s.
march - august 1998 : somewhat the same but increasingly getting more and more 2000s.
september 1998 to july 1999: Mostly 2000s still some late 90s
August 1999 - November 1999: officially the early 2000s, onlu bits and pieces left of the 90s.
