I know it wouldn't have been intentional, but i can't help but see Barbara's nightmare was a foreshadowing of what would happen in Batman Beyond "Return of the Joker" - Her biggest fear wasn't dying on the job, but it was of something happening that would expose Batman's secrets, ruin her family and ruin any chance of the Bat trio from passing on their mantles. Yet that actually DID happen in RotJ, not with Barbara dying, but with the Joker screwing Tim up
