Start with a start, then an end than the middle as the start and end are more memorable for people.
Use visuals. Show not tell. Different Modalities.

These tips are fantastic Vanessa! Remembering what you have to say when presenting is really difficult. I've tried many methods, but will definitely try your tips you shared in this video. I was surprised to hear about the 10% retention! This is incredibly low. I think these tips are also helpful for video work and will be useful for my CZcams channel and video courses. Thank you!

Great stuff! Thank you Vanessa! I might add a good tip that I learned from Ted Talk: If you feel too anxious, hold a cold bottle of water (don´t drink it, it ruins your vocal tone). Look a little weird, but it works!

Thank you so much for the super interesting and surprising ideas you share with us. I have just one question, thought; I'm currently reading your book 'Captivate: the science of succeeding with people', and I want to know whether that book or any material on your social media platforms is relevant across cultures. Did the studies you conduct only represent the western society or they are applicable to different cultures setting. I'm from Morocco, BTW ( in case you need to know where I am from to make a valid assessment ). THANK YOU
