the introduction of Michael Imperioli as Nick Falco, very nice. he was brought in when Jesse L. Martin aka Green needed to take some time off from the show, due to him filming the movie version of Rent(which he'd also appeared in on Broadway back in the '90s. man's got one hell of a singing voice). so Green was shot and Falco came in to sub for him for 4 episodes.

@@DKWill09 So, conservatives have recently noticed people from LA and California in general leave the state and move to more red states like Texas or Arizona... and then proceed to complain about the culture in these more conservative states, forgetting they moved away *because* of the anti-conservative policies of California.
So there's this meme about California "spreading" and people wanting to build a wall around California, LA primarily (though San Francisco has also caught flak given recent crime and homelessness problems).

Considering how not great the reboot is, I regret not watching the Falco episodes back in the day. I didn't want to accept two new detectives so soon after Lenny left. I was wrong; these episodes were really good. The writing, the guest stars, and the supporting cast are classic Law and Order.
Falco and Fontana work very well together, too.
It's nice the show ran for 22 seasons with the revolving door of actors.
The two gentleman have crossed paths before, you could say.

I’ve often wondered what the audition process for the women/men who play corpses is like. You’re laying there the entire time the camera is rolling, it doesn’t really require acting ability lol
It's probably like a lot of extra casting. They will need a nice picture and some references that they are reliable on time people.

the soprano guy is very very believable as a cop. Also, as a cop myself these scenes which is usually up to CSI or homicide is a nightmare... the smell is horrible. i still hate going on scenes like this especially when the body is making noises
Dennis Farina, the actor that portrayed Fontana (the other detective) was a Cop in CHicago for 17 years I think

Neither. Micheal Imperioli is totally inseparable from Christopher in my mind, the same as James Gandolfini, you just could not imagine them playing anyone else after the Sopranos. To his credit he does a good job here!
