I was laughing so hard at that part. "I HEARD THAT!"
Women can be crazy lol
@@nathancorbett999 So can men, arguably even more so. Plenty of husbands attempt to kill or do harm when they think that their wife is cheating. But it mainly depends on the person, not the gender.
She had that really upset woman look down. I know it well.
Yeah, talk about shifting gears real quick!
Good golly, the one-two of "I have an air of authority" followed by "when I went to rehab for my cocaine problem..." absolutely slayed me. What a line read

My favorite part
A reporter would never hand over her work PC to a pair of detectives, even if she was completely innocent of everything in the world, she has sources and information to protect.
They likely had grounds to take it even if she said no since they traced the emails back to that computer
@@SoulEvans6547 correct but they will need a court order, and discovery rules.

Yes they would jail is a powerful thing
another huge error

Wrong again, boy
the installation of the key logger is federal crime. Why is the dude not facing charges?
The "ripped from the headlines" story is based on the case of Larry Mendte, a Philadelphia news anchor who received probation for accessing co-anchor Alycia Lane's e-mail without her consent. This might've been a federal crime, but the real guy didn't go to jail which is probably why they treated it the way they did in this L/O episode.
Maybe because it's a show, not reality
❤️
They aren’t Feds.
Was is a crime in 2009? I know that lots of internet and computer based privacy protection laws were in discussion at that point but were not made into penal law for years after the point of introduction at the federal level
lmfao at that news anchor actually pulling the "it was self defense" card to justify hacking into his colleagues computers and releasing those risqué photos to the public. 😂😂
Spread the word, Law and Order is officially coming back with season 21 🙌
Prove it!
@@CC-si3cr NBC just announced it, though it's in the very, very early stages, so nothing outside of that is known at the moment. They indicated old cast members could return, but of the final season cast, the only ones who are really free are Linus Roache and Sam Waterson. Jeremy Sisto and Alana de la Garza are on FBI, S Epatha Merkerson is on Chicago Med, and Anthony Anderson is on Black-ish.
As far as previous-previous cast members, the detective lineup is slim pickings. Orbach and Farina are dead, Green was written out in a way that he really, really shouldn't be able to come back, and I doubt Benjamin Bratt would be willing to come back. I also doubt Chris Noth would come back, though maybe if Logan becomes the Chief.
With the prosecutors, they COULD bring back Abbie or Serena. I know Cutter gets a lot of grief, but I wouldn't mind seeing him return. Jack will likely come back even though, by all accounts, he really should be retired in-universe by this point.
@@buchiklop110 well, Black-ish is wrapping its final season, so Anderson will soon be available. If you could somehow get Sisto and De La Garza to go from one Wolf universe show to another, you got some gumbo cookin!

"You didn't see the pictures?" Yeah because everyone has to have looked at the hot, but clothed pg13 pictures of some random reporter and recognized her.
I will never understand why when guys cheat they blame the girlfriend. Half the time the girlfriend doesn’t even know and it’s the man who decides to ruin the marriage and take advantage of someone else. He was the one who broke the commitment.
Because when you are the wife it's the husband you want to keep, not his mistress. So naturally you'll blame her.
Also, it's really, really not difficult to seduce a guy who has been married for a while. Self-respecting women should stay away from married guys but they are itching to become wife No2.
The deadpan "Did you?" at 06:37 was killing me for some reason.
I remember watching this episode. This was not a clip that had me hanging on the edge of my seat.
Who killed her?
@@holygrail7856 Irene Matson, Frederick Matson's wife. Frederick Matson wasn't just a financier and investment advisor, he was also a con artist. Unbeknown but to the Matson couple and Santana - the head of the Columbian drug cartel, their business was nothing more than a profiteering and Ponzi scheme. An employee of the Matsons' called Decker uncovered the scheme and went to Dawn Prescott about it. This is what her news story was going to be about. Unfortunately, Santana wanted the Ponzi scheme to carry on so he hired a hitman to kill Decker at his home to shut him up. With Dawn Prescott, Irene learnt that Dawn uncovered the Ponzi scheme thanks to Decker and tried to convince her to shut up about it, even offering her money. But Dawn said she's going to go through with the story so Irene shot Dawn in the head which killed her

After Jerry Orbach, the show was never the same.

Does anyone notice the tone of the last 2 seasons is much different than previous ones? Feels so modern
I mean, the show ended in 2010, not 1997.
@@buchiklop110 Yes but many episodes had a similar tone. The stories in the last 2 seasons seemed to be more personal more like Dragnet
They're using the set from Seth Meyer's show? Cool!
The series is not available anymore in the philippines. so who killed dawn?
soooooo excited to hear the original L&O was greenlit to return!!! i hope sam waterston returns, but he's older now. if they bring it back, they must address lt van buren's lawsuit and she should be captain van buren now. just like capt cragen on svu and capt deakins on criminal intent. use cariol horne as a blueprint. have capt van buren liaise with sgt ayana bell's wife, whose suing nypd because of her nephew's guitar hand.
CAPTAIN ANITA VAN BUREN should cameo. i know she's on Chi Med right now, but hell make anita and sharon twin sisters. bwahahahahaa.
5:49 self...defense
That was a Freudian slip. What he means by self defense is that he had something to lose. The reporter, I imagine was onto what he had to lose. He knew someone was looking into his secret, and happened to guess correctly.
Inspector Sledge Hammer is a great TV anchor.

We don't want a million spin-offs, we want original-flavor Law & Order back!
I've never actually got a chance to watch the original one, I started watching SVU.
2010 and 2011 weren't great for Law and Order.
2010 the orginal was canceled.
2011 Criminal Intent returned for a brief final season with the orginal cast returning. Which going back to 2010, season 9 of Criminal Intent with a new cast being only in that season makes it stand out like a sore thumb. Law and Order LA gets canceled after one season. And Stabler left SVU.

What's an apartment like that (02:10) go for in Manhattan?
Several hundred thousand to a million.
No way it’s in the hundreds of thousands range. The median price of all Manhattan apartments is $916,000, and isn’t your average apartment-it’s a luxury apartment. A property that spacious and central with great big windows and hard wood floors costs at least a couple million dollars, maybe several million dollars.
Well it all depends on where in Manhattan it is. The apartments more toward Wall Street run $900,000 - $1 million+
