Every time I watch a modern TT with racers going around corners I think of Chloe Dygert in 2020 World’s. So many things can go wrong with a TT bike, especially at high speeds around corners when you’re in a TT position. I race TTs and take risks around corners on descents, but that one sticks in my mind… Glad to see her back in the pro peloton as a testament to human physical and mental resilience.

Look it back. Her tire was blown into smithereens, probably by some debris on the road, on a descent, just entering an off-camber turn.
That had nothing to do with a TT bike or TT position. Such an unholy alliance of circumstances could've happened to any bike at any position. She could've done nothing to avoid crashing.
