Julien Alaphilippe led out for Mark Cavendish to win a stage in the 2021 TdF.... just let that sink in for a moment...
Such a statement, they believe in him
Brings back memories when Bradley Wiggins in the yellow jersey led out the Team Sky train for Mark Cavendish to win the last stage in the 2012 TdF.
Alaphillippe is a total legend
That's the Wolfpack mentality mate. Quickstep is the best
Props to Van Moore... He gave absolutely everything
such a cruel sport
Huge congratulations to Mark Cavendish!!!
Everyones watching these highlights waiting for LR highlights to come out!
Really enjoy these short recaps of the tour stages
Congratulations to cav I was torn between cav winning and the guy that led from the breakaway managing to get to the end well deservedly, unfortunately one had to lose for one to win. Sometimes sports are so cruel, his face when the race ended is something I won't be able to forget. Fortunately he is young and I'm sure there will be plenty of other TDF for him
The craziest start to a tour de france in my living memory. Its been so so eventful, so entertaining, its a shame irs a tt tomorrow the road racing has been amazing, you couldnt script this. I hope it continues like this, this was meant to be the boring week lol
Thanks for Julian..congrats Mark.
My family don’t understand why I love the cycling , I don’t understand them !! Congratulations Cav , outstanding ride today you and the team 👌🏽
Same with us, not one of our friends like cycling. Mind you, here in Vancouver, we have not had any on tv since the TDF 2020 and not very much coverage at all. We used to get a lot more up to 2019, with Spring classics et all.
Who else almost cried when he said so many people didn’t believe in him, but these guys did 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
i never thought i would ever see cav win another tour stage again. i have a little tear. i know we're in very much different times but the record is on again.
Amazing teammates. Thanks Julian and Congrats Mark
Had goosebumps for a while there! So happy for Cav here! Fully deserved win. Way to go Wolfpack!
Wow!!!!! This years Tour de France is the most exciting yet
What a finish! The announcer made the perfect call!
Amazing finish for Cav, what a comeback!!
Great editing, what a stage finish, congrats Cavendish and cheers to the Tour official.
He's back and winning emphatically. So happy for you Cav and the team
These are the best cycling highlights out there. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do
Good job editing the music at the end.
Perfect vibes!!!
The sprint king love from Philippines
So good to see Cav back and showing good form
Have to admit, hugely impressed by and delighted for Cavendish! Bravo!
The way Cav squeezed around van Moer for the win, wow!!
Wow. What a finish
If Cav survives the mountains, he could take the Green!!!
It is a tough ask... He'd probably need the whole team everyday.
Sure he did!
Cavendish YES!! Knows where he is…Respects the TDF…Worked for it.
I felt sorry for that guy who was leading by himself.
what an intense finish
The announcers deserve a raise
It’s a good thing the riders protested
Sure. Standing there for a minute at the start of the stage is going to have long lasting implications for how the stage organizers organize future races… I think a lot more is required than a half hearted minute long protest.
@@the.real.frosty.g2682 the courses had nothing to do with any of the stage crashes so far. Overlapped wheels, riding much too aggressively, early race jitters, and stupid fans are the reasons for the chaos.
@@markcavandish1295 so having a corner for the final sprint and a 1.2 / 2 % descent down to the finish is a safe end to a stage ? The end of stage 3 was poorly designed in relation to safety and was partly to blame for the Haig and Ewan’s crashes
@@sean7098 there is nothing overly aggressive about that turn. You’ll find that turn and thousands others just like it in any given stage with 5k to go. The sport has inherent dangers. That’s bike racing. You’re never going to make it perfect. The pros know that.
@@sean7098 it was not good but all the riders had a chance to inspect the course so they knew what it was like. These are professional riders it's their job to know everything about a course and how to ride it. And if they don't take notice someone on their team does or should that's what they get paid for. Everyone is talking as if they are 15 year olds that have been caught out by a course they haven't had a chance to inspect etc. I understand they get caught up in a moment but they are professional riders. Some things are out of their control like with the woman and the sign in stage one, but the road and how narrow it is and how much furniture it has doesn't change from when inspected a few days before
Awesome Mark, you are a legend !!!!
i just love these videos
I miss Paul Sherwin and Phil Liggett. They provided race play-by-play and also incredible insight into the Tour de France they talked about the course talked about the geography the history around each stages location they did their homework and presented a wonderful tapestry. The current generation of broadcasters presents play-by-play like they're broadcasting hockey game..... Maybe they'll come into their own and mature and become the new Phil and Paul. But there will never be as a dynamic duo as Paul Sherwin and Phil Liggett.
Especially Paul, I was so sad when he died young at about 62 or so. Enjoyed his history lessons, he knew all about all the Chateaux, and monuments. Plus of course knew so much about cycling. I am afraid that Phil Liggot has been going downhill for over 5 years now, and makes mistakes.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cav Amazing!!!!
If you look closely, you can see his dreams come true.
Brings back memories when Bradley Wiggins in the yellow jersey led out the Team Sky train for Mark Cavendish to win the last stage in the 2012 TdF.
Watching this again and again
Hey ! Thanks for the shirt my man ! And best of luck for southgate on the road to wembley !
Classic Cav! Chapeau!!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Linda vitória 🏆🥇💫
Ele merece🚴♂️💨💨💨⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Good for Cav, been a long time getting back, heck of a job.
Wow! Just wow!
Yea buddy!
Fueee tremenda carrera asta lágrimas
Bravo Cav !
a legend, Caven...
The Wolfpack does it again. A world champion and the green Jersey tirelessly working for Cavendish to win and take the green Jersey of him. I love quickstep!
This is why Bennett is going, he doesn't fit in with the Wolfpack mentality. Sadly for him because he won't win in another team, just like all the other sprinters leaving the famous quickstep lead out!
I think you call this a heartbreaker (from the van Moor's point of view)...but respect to Cav who is showing everybody that he ain't done yet. You saw here some real emotion from an athlete...you need ppl who trust in you
What a relief for MM
Great highlights package except for the spoiler in the first frame.
When MDVP wins the yellow againts Alaphilippe, Alaphilippe congratulates him.
When Cavendish wins the green jersey, Alaphilippe do the same.
This man sportmanship is wholesome.❤️
zero sportsmanship during the protest. Andre Greipel had to shout at him to stop.
@@faiznasruddin6596 Because not all the riders agreed with the protest. That's not a sportmanship issue.
Cav is back❤️
"Booyah." 🎉🥳🎊
Mannn this raise my heart rate to 85% for the last 850m
Top Cav🇧🇷🚴♂️✌👏👏
Good on Cav! I'm really happy for him
Manx missile is back!
A+ summary
So nice to see , made up for him . Great teamwork though !
It is good to see Cavendish winning a stage, bringing that missile back! Time for Sagan to win one too!
All will change in the MOUNTAINS.....
courage to runners
For a moment I was convinced JA and MC wears their Richard Milles *during* the race.
Dang, year of the crashes!
Cavendish ❤️
This looks like a movie.
wow
Sagan around again on big crash, bumps Caleb b f Caleb crosses wheels in front of him.
Does anyone ever bump Sagan first? I don’t recall seeing that. Sagan seems to be the initiator so far as I remember but cd be wrong
Uoooouulllllll
They need to keep the crowds away from the road
How do I watch the tour from india...pls someone telll 😭😭😭😭😭
CAVANDISH!
31 down 3 to go
Without strong lead out he would not have won. Will never hear the end of this..
What?
Bravo Cavendish
Can’t see 💩 now in 🇨🇦 unless pay flobikes. Used to be on reg tv
yes, such a bloody nuisance. I live in Vancouver, and all that is on the sports channels here is damn baseball and hockey, ALL THE BLOODY TIME. I am sick of not getting any cycling. 2020 we had limited TDF, about an hour or two a day in the last week. Up till then we had 3-5 hours every day, plus other races, Giro, Vuelta a d Some Spring Classics.
Dontncare how good he is..still wearing his watch on the wrong wrist
How many more sprint stages are there?
Stage 6 to Chateauroux, Stage 10 into Valence, Stage 13 into Nimes, Stage 14 into carcassone, stage 19 into Libourne, And obviously Paris
So Cav cd pass Merckx in this tour
@@paulsolon6229 A very hard ask though. But hope he does.
Still the fastest man on the planet Cavendish🔥

Locomotora del carchi
Fausto Mosquera...
now, who says cav is past?
카벤디쉬 안죽었구나! 최근 불운의 아이콘이었는데... 대단하다! 워우...
근데 인성은 갖추길 바란다. 올림픽 때 쓰레게 같은 발언은 가히 충격이었다.
Benji from Lanterne Rouge also believes in you Cav. He put money down on a Stage win for you in January.
Go CAV!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cav !!!!!!!!!!!!!
and England beat Germany at football, everything is possible
It had to be about race didn't 😁
Imagine losing the breakaway with 200 meters to go... that was more painful than the physical pain itself
yeah a brutal sport
Your 'Cav is Back' title spoilt the outcome. If you could please stop doing that, it'd be appreciated.
Gee ... Didn't get to watch it last night, look for some highlights and you have the result written up before I even watch it ..... garbage.
Will make sure I only look for GCN highlights.
Tour joieuxse competition mais horrorouese organization
ffs get that mask off him, it hard enough to understand what he says without it lol
The jumpy eggplant fundamentally argue because willow intracellularly tickle next a imperfect paper. orange, defective ton
ahaha do et
Drama queen's on bikes.
I miss Chris Froome wins, amazing things he did at TDF all these years! 🇨🇵🚵♀️
