Will will Bolt's record fall?
When GTA 8 gets released
The 100m is untouchable rn, the 200m might fall before 2028 but there is no chance that it happens for the 100m anytime soon
The 100? Hell no
True😂@@khumokwezimashapa2245
When will Bolts Record Fall?
Kerley’s times are closer to Flo-Jo’s than to Bolt’s.
🤣sheesh
This season it's almost the exact same distance on either side actually. Interesting observation. I'm sure he'll improve as the season goes on but quite the compelling take here
Man! 😂
Bro, this is too much 😂😂
Savage mate!😂
Sponsor: Fred, we need more engagement for the next event
Fred: ight. Got it
this is exactly how it went
This is simply it.
Yes.
What is funny is that he isn't even close to the second best athlete ever (Tyson Gay and Yohan Blake at 9.69,). They are 0.11 away from the world record. The best 3 times ever run are Bolt. Two of those (beijing 2008 and berlin 2009) were world records. He set 3 world record in the 100m, even his 9.71 is faster than Fred Kerley.
In total, 8 people managed to run faster times. He only has the 15 fastest sprint time, joint with 6 (!) times of other sprinters. Bolt has 7 of the 15 fastest times ever run...
Then we have Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake and Asafa Powel and Justin gatlin who all have run multiple times faster than Fred Kerley. It looks by those statistics that is is a bad sprinter, since even the american record at 9.69 is not his.
He even ran at +1.4 wind, Bolt ran both his first record 9.69 at +0.0 wind (!!) amd his second at mere +0.9 wind which equalling wind reading will make Bolt even more Elite.
In order for Fred to break Bolt's record he needs to be way faster than his personal best, even with +2.0 wimd it is unlikely. Given this time of year is even less likely yet, heck, even Bolt ran his fastest times in World Championship and Olympic finals.
Conclusion: VERY UNLIKELY
Performance boosters will get Fred some fulfillment.
lmao so true
Bruh. At this point Fred is gonna set the WR for the most failed attempts at setting a WR 😂😂
Wym everyone else fails everytime they race everyone is always chasing the record
😂
😂😂😂
@@luis8899 But they don't openly say that they're going for it or that they will break it (cough lyles)
Dude’s lost his mind a little bit. It’s one thing to say you want to reach a world record EVENTUALLY but to say you’re doing it in 18 days is pretty wild
I just have to laugh so hard😂the over confidence is insane
He obviously just says it to get ppl talking
He is trying to speak it into existence
Bolt slowed down when he set the world record of 9.58 seconds and could have done it in 9.50?
Why do people actually take this seriously
He will break the record with a 20 degree inclination track and a wind of +4.0 meters per second
😂
I would say +40.0 meters per second
@@nevillewalker1227😂
If you run under 9.80 you're a sprinting monster, if you run under 9.70 you're a sprinting god and if you run under 9.60 you're USAIN BOLT.😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If Duplantis competes in the same meet, then it is a high probability that a world record will be beaten. I don't think Kerley specified in what event, lol
I see you were at the WA IG page, too...cuz someone there said the exact same thing.
Duplantis is definitely breaking a record soon whether it be world or Olympic. Dude's talented. Love Fred but I hope he's saying that just to get people watching lol
Haha...good one
@@murasakino101he broke one like a month ago or something😭

Bruh i just watched old footage of prime Bolt run 9.77 into a -1.5 HEADWIND in Bruxells!! The person who eventually breaks his WR ISNT BORN YET!!
Don't worry guys, I'll break the world record. Just need a min to warm up
Thank god for mr azuleux
Azuleux boutta step in

Drop a 9.4 bro 💪🏾

Bolt ran a 9.72 and 9.69 before he even sprinted his 9.58 following that with a 9.64 few years later.
He also had good showings in the 200m breaking the record twice there as well
None of these guys have even come close to 2016 Bolt yet they compare themselves to Prime Bolt
9.63, not 9.64.
*9.63
You mean 2012 Bolt. 2016 Bolt was 9.81 and 19.78.
Yep, and each of Bolt's WRs were far more impressive than they first seem
9.72WR was after a rainstorm that initially cancelled the 100m, there was a 3 hour delay, Bolt ran at 11:30PM at night, and after a false start. He had about 20-30mins notice to re-warm up, it was chilly and wet, he won't have eaten properly.
9.69WR equates to a 9.63 with no showboating, so a 9.53 with a maximum wind, and all Bolt ate in Beijing was copious Chicken McNuggets, occasionally fries and apple pies. His SHOELACES WERE UNDONE in the race - he forgot to tie them.
9.58WR was only four months after a car crash where he had thorns tear into his bare feet, I believe he had to take three weeks off from training. The Berlin track was said to not be the fastest. Bolt ran slower splits at the start than he did in Beijing. He looked to his right multiple times mid-race.
"Ahem" 9.63 2012 Olympic Games. The 200 Meter WR Will Be Broken Before The 100m WR. No One Is Running 9.5 Anything, Anytime Soon 🤷🏿♂️.
He's either extremely delusional or his trolling game is off the charts.
9.58 will stand for another 20 years. That record is currently untouchable. In my opinion......
40 years.

Kerley is no joke... but coming from Asafa... I mean he puts some perspective on that prediction. He's been there before and he trained with Bolt. If anyone knows what it takes to "attempt" to beat Bolt, its him. All I can say, is let's see.
To be fair, he never said it would be HIM who breaks it. LOL
😂😂
Touché👍🏾🫡
The person to break bolts 100m record hasn't been born yet 😂
Usain Bolt should father kids with Abby Steiner and Sydney McLaughlin.
tobogo will slap that record..
I think the closest is erriyon Knighton, he's still very young and run incredibly fast in the 200m, but yeah 100m is very unlikely
@@shawnriver94 the best bet so far but he may prioritise other things so he could never reach his 100m potential
you sure? I got born at the exact same date as him and I am already fast... not at world class performance but close to it, at least over the 60 meters (6.7 second potential)
I ran a 7.01 in training into a headwind
We can’t forget that they’re peaking for Olympics. Noah Lyle’s has stated that most guys aren’t going all out and peaking for races until then
Agreed. Everyone is saying the times are too slow… even elite level athletes can’t peak for more than 8-12 weeks max. Most far less than that… I’m not saying he’s going to break the 100m WR but all these guys will start going sub 10 soon.
I agree - Without checking back I’d venture this is the case in nearly all Olympic years - As for Kerley, he’s a highly talented self promoting showman but definitely not & never likely to be at the same level as Bolt
What Fred k basically said is just a creative way of saying "I'm retiring" from the 100 meter dash
No current sprinter.has the ability to go remotely close
Drug testing has gotten better
You should compare times this season with previous olympic years to see if sprinters are just scaling differently given the new timeframe
I meannnn, he shut up a lot of doubters a few years ago when he pulled out of the 400 to run the 100/200. Many said he had no chance in those events and then became world champ in the 100. I’m not counting him out.
I love it. Let them run their mouth. 😂 i was actually afraid that this was going to be about an injury but im relieved to see its just overconfidence instead. Been a while since i saw Kerley run.
Foretelling, with his form, if he moved fast enough to come close to 9.57, they will end up carrying him off the track.
@@torunit4620😂😂
Tomorrow im breaking the world record 🔥🔥💀
I have faith in you.
Hey man I am a big fan of your channel. Recently 19yr old pravaj Khan from India won gold medal in NCAA championships 1500m. This is the 1st time India securing India gold in NCAA. SO THIS MAN DESERVES A VIDEO ON HIM. INDIAN FANS AND ATHLETES PLEASE LIKE THIS COMMENT.
this man must not know how hard it is to run under 9.69.
Don't worry he does
under 9.7
not even under 9.76
not even under 10 😵
he doesnt because hes never run it.
honestly him saying this makes me more excited because i honestly have not been caring about the guy sprinters this year bar a few
Usain Bolt was THE perfect storm!! Sprinting peaked with him. Even Powell, Gay and Gatlin consistently ran sub 10sec
I think they updated the USADA anti-doping rules for this year. Look it up. Believe it or not this is the reason for slower times. Most world class athletes use some form of substance to get an edge.(even caffeine is monitored by usada)
Coleman gave him some of what he had before his statement
Thank you TRP for introducing me to track.
Minus his 10.03 (1.9) opener, the season so far after four 100m races & one 200m race isn't looking too hot for Kerley! If there isn't a significant improvement by the end of May, there's a good chance he doesn't make an individual team @Trials!
Yeah I mean Kerley choked at Worlds last year and didn’t even make it to the Finals.
And Kerley has consistently tried to make the 200m team since 2021 and has never managed to do it. Kerley ain’t breaking any sort of record and neither are any of his contemporaries!
@@jermaineayivoh8263 Tbf, he made the WC 200m Team in '22, but didn't make it out of the semi @WC. Barring injury, there's just no way he's beating the likes of Noah, Erriyon, Kenny & Courtney to make the Olympic 200m Team next month!
@@jermaineayivoh8263 Choked at WC or.... hasn't been the same since injury ended his '22 season. He's also 29 which isn't a great age for a sprinter, unless you're Justin Gatlin who somehow got faster in his 30s... Anyway, we're probably never going to see 2021/2022 Fred Kerley again.
BRAVO...👍 Thank you..✌
He’s clearing just talking big talk, but given his splits across the 1, 2, and 4 hundred meters, it honestly feels conceivable within the next couple of years 🤷♂️ he’s extremely talented
“Actually just sad” is crazy 😭
The kids call this type of talking CAP. If I was Fred i would spend my energy trying to win a race this season before bringing up the impossible. Sheesh.
In the sport of track and field everybody is allowed to talk and be a comedian, thanks for the jokes bro
I believe dinosaurs will return to earth before this man breaking any records
Manifesting seems all the rage with sprinters at the moment.
I have a feeling that Tebogo kid can break all Bolts records, the way that boy is progressing is crazy
Fred is one of my favorite athletes but dang he shouldn’t say this especially since he hasn’t even broken 10 yet this season. Don’t want him to get clowned on twitter 🙁
He's putting himself on heat not even Bolt spoke like that before...
“Let’s run under 10” is crazy 💀
I'd be surprised if kerley even breaks his own PB in Stockholm 😂😂
I hope your delulu comes trululu 😂😂😂
But if Noah had said it, everyone would be singing a different tune. if Any of the Records Fall it goes to Tebogo.
Bolt will have to return to break his own records.
Another great commentary by TRP 👊🏾
Every body gotta have a DREAM!
Bro has gone mad 😂😂😂
2005-2015 was the greatest generation of sprinters of all time. we are unlikely to see such sprinters for a long time.
there's a very good reason why the times are slower this year. everyone is trying to peak for some event that's happening in Paris this year. can't quite remember what though.
Love how we are talking about Bolt's record as unattainable in one of the dirtiest sports on earth and not just saying he clearly doped for it
Good goals. But stress from such expectations can be positive & negative.
To win at this elite level is a amazing feat in & of itself.
Very good to push yourself but also hope he can enjoy some of his accomplishments thus far.👍🏽👍🏽💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hes got people talking about him, mission accomplished so to speak.
Idk if he’ll break the world record in his next race or even the American record and truthfully no one does especially since we can’t see him while he’s training, but I think it’s great that he’s putting his goal out there because to me it doesn’t sound like he’s being overconfident it’s probably more likely that he made a breakthrough in practice and feels like he can replicate that in competition. I will say that hitting the same times or race execution in a race is much, much more difficult to do on the track where the world can see a lot of athletes hit way better times in practice than in competition for one reason or another. I think he’s gonna put down a pretty great time, he’s shocked the world before and I think he can do it again in his next race.
8:03 BDW a Sri Lankan by the name of Yupun Abeykoon also ran a personal best of 9.96 in 2022
Let's go new vid 😁🤙
to be fair, he didnt specify what world record... maybe it's the most amount of sunglasses worn in a 100m race or something?
It's worth noting that Usian Bolt's record has just recently surpassed Jim Hine's 100m record (1968-1983) to be the longest lasting in history (2009 - Present). Almost 15 years.
So Powell is right about it being there for a very long time.
FK's NOT ever going to get the 100m or 200m WR.
If Fred never "touches the 100m" again, then his Twitter statement is technically true. In logic, this is called a "vacuous truth". This term is used to describe a situation where a conditional statement is considered true because the premise (the "if" part) is never satisfied. I'm not sure this was Fred's thinking, but I just wanted to wear my Aristotle hat for a moment.
He's talking so people will talk about him. It worked. Any publicity right?
People will tell their kids to follow their dreams but laugh at this runner in the same breath. That's what's "Actually Just Sad"
Kerley fell out of bed and then woke up what a weaner lol!!
I'm predicting Kerley will not make the US team for Paris. He's sub-par in 2024.
Kerley hit the extra saucey sauce during the pandemic…Now the juices have left the system.
One thing you brought up that just isn't the case is the percent improvement. At that speed, the wattage he is putting down, to improve that .4 seconds requires a power increase far higher than 5%.
When Noah Lyles said that he’s going to run 9.41 and break Usain Bolt’s 100m World Record in his multiple interviews, the whole track and field world completely supports him and cheering him on if he breaks the 100m World Record.
But when Fred Kerley said that he’s going to break Usain Bolt’s 100m World Record multiple times on social media, TPR and the rest of the whole track and field world completely dragging him down, constantly making fun of him, constantly roasting him and crucifying him greatly on social media.
Lol. 😅
No one did that for lyles everyone said bruh what are you saying when he was talking about those figures even Lyles last year said he wants to run 9.65 which isn’t even the WR
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1Go to Real Talk with Tee CZcams Channel, and then click the video titled “Noah Lyles share his ALL TIME Prediction in the 200m”.
On that video, that’s one interview that he said that he believes and wants to run 9.41 in the 100m and 18.6 in the 200m.
The other interviews that he said he believes that he can run 9.41 in the 100m (there’s one interview with Ato Bolton in 2016, and another interview with the CZcams Channel “I AM ATHLETE”.) just Google it.
Internet and Google are free to access.
No one supported Noah ,stop wilding out
While Noah saying he was going to break the 100m WR was delusional, at least he had just broke the American record in the 200m and was clearly the best sprinter in the world at the time. Kerly didn’t medal last year and hasn’t broke 10 this year. The delusional levels are just much higher.
I've never heard him say he's going to break the 100m WR. He did say he thought he could run a 9.65 last year. I thought even that was a stretch.
I haven't went through all of your most recent videos, but I do have a question and was wondering. What has happened to Matthew Boling? I have not heard his name in a while now and was wondering where he has been since transitioning from collegiate to pro.
someone just ran a 9.90 in Atlanta
I think the only person that can beat a world record is someone with exactly that attitude. People just don't say it out loud because everyone will clown them for it. What's actually sad is that nobody will support an athlete that decides to believe in himself. The sad thing is that people will clown him even more if he doesn't beat the record in his next race... and those people miss the point entirely. Unless you believe you can be the best tomorrow, you'll never be the best and it's as simple as that.
It's like Babe Ruth calling his shot, you'll laugh at him if he strikes out but you'll stare in awe if he hits it.
A lot of people jump right to the laughing part but if he beats the world record in a few years I hope people learn to respect the attitude that leads to greatness.
I predict that he runs a 9.97 at the Stockholm meet😂
Is he planning on riding a motorcycle?
Damn! those ped's must be pretty potent if he can come up with that prediction.
Mr Flintstone wilding
I love it. I’m with Kerely!
I think you have to view it more from the mindset of a world class athlete publicly giving himself a very high target to push himself, he knew how people online would react, more fuel to the fire
Bro is hopping on that super duper juice with extra zest
19.19 in the 200 also seems unreachable although Noah Lyles did run 19.31 not long ago. Anyway, I think that Kerley should aim for 9.70 in the 100 first, and if he runs that fast then he can talk about Bolt's world record. Asafa Powell was faster than Kerley in the 100, and so was Tyson Gay. What makes Kerley special is his time in the 400, which is darned near unbelievable when you consider his times in the 200 and the 100.
No the potential starts at 14 years old bolt ran 19.93 at 17 erriyon ran 19.8 at 17 lyles ran 20.80 at 17 which is not even close the potential will be shown as a teen naturally lyles is not touching that record he says he’ll run 19.10 and y’all believe him don’t take that 19.19 so lightly unless you had special genes and one of a kind. Like bolt, erriyon, gout gout, puripol or even Christian miller depending on his path your not touch bolts records period also that 19.31 was on a fast track if lyles ever breaks his own record it would be a 19.29 or 30
My boy is definitely on some BALCO level dope to even think to himself something so outrageous.
I edited my comment to include analysis results, instead of just passing along advice.
The top 100m times are *not* significantly different (2021-2024). I just did a simple one-way ANOVA on the times you posted from 2021-2024 (small sample size, so take it with a grain of salt) F(3, 40) = 1.597, p = 0.21. Since p is greater than 0.05, we cannot reject the null hypothesis. Meaning, the chance that the differences are due to the factor of ‘year' is lower than 95%. This threshold for significance of difference is the standard in most of science (with even more stringent p-values in some cases)
Mate, never say never......who knows, what if, at his next meet, he comes oh so close to Bolt's record ( like 0.02 sec off), or even ties it?
If that happens, he wpuld be incredibly motivated, and that would be even crazier than hom outright beating Bolt time bc ppl will REALIZE that he can, in fact, beat Bolt's record, mate........
Can’t never could…. BELIEVE!!!! Kerley … BELIEVE!

I’m shocked that a video was made about this…as much as I love the content.
He may be crazy but the person who does break the record will need to have that type of attitude in order to do so.
That feel when you get gassed up by a hand timed split that's a couple hundredths too fast

I hope Fred achieves his goal. NB I think the reason for the slow start to the season is that everyone is focused on Paris.
He has to have unbelievable belief in himself to dominate in his craft
We sprint fans got spoiled from 2008 to 2017. Not just with Bolt and the world records, but with his contemporaries trying to dethrone him. We probably won’t see that level of consistent sprinting from that many sprinters for a long time
Fred was higher than a kite when he posted that
