i like the tests that are longer than 10 days
Agreed. 10 days isn't enough time to see real results.
i think 10-day tests have their own merit because he can try some crazy stuff like walking backward or being on all fours for 10 days.
Remember to Focus
Yes, at least 3 months.
i like that u show results and don't even judge them
From my experience derma stamping/derma rolling will help to stimulate blood flow to the scalp thus, new hair.
I appreciated you were thorough with the photos. And adding the lines i also appreciate it.
This GOAT never stops! Legend
Rosemary is also called the "Happy Herb". So, I don't mind using something that may have a positive effect in my life for more than one reason. 😊 Thanks
The longer experiments are great!
I remember when women were putting rosemary oil on their hairbrushes for the nightly brush out, back in the early and mid '70s. They were not doing it for any growth effects but the oil is so fine and light that it penetrates the hair shafts and makes it look shinier, glossy, and that in turn makes it look thicker. The outer part of the hair shaft is the cortex and is actually colorless, very fine oils can absorb into that colorless husk to make it more glasslike transparent so the color underneath comes though better. This is why men who use greasy products in their hair appear to have darker thicker hair. The thicker the product the thicker hair appears because the shafts are getting stuck together. But, that also means more spaces left open between the hairs so eventually it looks worse than if you just leave it alone. Something happened to me at 16 in the heart of puberty (German measles) that seems to have arrested that cycle, slowed it way down, so my hair never really got that masculine thickness to the hair shafts, but overall hair count per square inch stayed high, so I have abundant fine hair even late into life. Thinning on the crown though. And turning silver back and sides.
My eyes hurt
Holy yap!
Omg have y'all never picked up a book in your entire life? This was a couple sentences long, it takes 30 seconds to read
still rosemary oil along with some other carrier oil is better than any shampoo there is and will promote hair and scalp health resulting in healthier=thicker hair
Keep up the amazing research, love this content!!
Whether ot works or not, your hair looks very healthy!
GLORIOUS hair !
I just bought a rosemary and mint scalp treatment, it was so amazing.
Love it ❤
When I squint to get an impression of just the shape, I gotta say I do think there is an improvement! I'd say that if you are compelled to work on this, topical minoxidil is as effective as oral minoxidil but without the potential side effects!
I wish you did a hair density test before and after. Also try to use it on all your head. For the next months.
Wake up guys, he posted again
Hmmmmm, I might.
Thanks bb
Who would wake up to watch a CZcams video?
LmO
I’m in my mid 20 and have less hairs. I tried a bunch of things but I think it’s easier to be content with less hairs 😌
This is great and I just started. I was on a topical finasteride and minoxidil spray for about a month and only using half the recommended does and was experiencing a troubling amount of heart palpitations and general pain so rosemary oil is is!
I saw your post pop up on Google news and thought I should comment. I am over 60 and the hair on top of my head has thinned. A friend gave me rosemary hair oil in a mixture. She said to comb it on to my scalp, let it sit for a while then wash it out. I did that and 30 percent of the hair on the top of my head came off.I have stopped using of course and continued experiencing more hair loss. One month later and I finally stopped significant shedding. Be careful with potency and go slow!!
Did it ever grow back?
Yeah did it?
emu oil will grow hair on the front hairline like you are trying to do, mix the rosemary with emu oil, also lavender and peppermint also work
dermaroll too bro, apparently it multiplies the effects, im on my 3rd month in applying grinded coffee, almond oil, rosemary oil and peppermint oil. Starting to see new baby hair follicles growing
Can you elaborate a little more or your regimine and recipes? Sounds promising if you're seeing new growth. Thanks.
Where did you buy the derma roller from?
please respond, your progress is intruiging

you have very strong good hair bro dont worry
I had it too bro. Till 29. Then my hair loss began drastically. Now I’m 32 and I lost a lot of hair at the top and fighting against it with hair serum and organic shampoo
@@Duman_59 Exactly. Having dense follicles can actually be paradoxically misleading. Because you are starting with so much density, you can ignore the problem for longer, delude yourself into thinking you are "immune" and won't catch it until it's already very progressed. Even if you have a lot of follicles they can be DHT sensitive (no matter how big the bucket is, if it has a hole, it will eventually be empty) and so even your dense hair can and will eventually thin and then fall out if you are prone to that. Versus if you started with less follicles you would notice much sooner when they thin and you maybe lost a few and could do something about it.
Pigmie, do you do micro needling? You should combine this with micro needling as it helps open up the skin and triggers a healing effect that stimulates hair to grow
Hey, From which brand are your glasses? They look good
I see difference, in thickness and seeing new growth.
Looks like new growth to me too.
This is awesome! Definitely some growth & start using a Derma Roller 1-2x a week after applying the oil.
It appears that your hair is a little thicker! Rosemary essential oil increases blood flow, which increases follicle health. Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid in the refrigerator and is absorbed quickly in the hair so it won’t look or feel greasy.

As I'm coming into being 30 years old I'm starting to to notice some thinner spots. I've been using rosemary essential oil with a combination of other rosemary products on my hair for one or two months now, and not that consistently, and I've noticed my hair becoming healthier, stronger, and way less prone to hair loss. But that's about it. I think the thin parts are slightly better, but not significantly. I hope it can reverse them.
It's definitely a habit to hold onto.
Can u share ur routine
@@kam2992 Well it's nothing fancy, really. I got this tea made of fresh rosemary, into which I add some drops of rosemary essential oil and put in a spray bottle in the fridge. I spray that onto the areas I want results in each night. The "potion" lasts for one or two months, I think.
The other two products are some general store oils for hair like castor oil, rosemary oil etc which i use only once a week and rub well into my scalp and sit on it for 1 or two hours before shower. Then I shower with some very light shampoo that's mainly just some kind of general soap + rosemary oils again.
And that's it, basically. The shampoo is really good, even tho it's so simple. My hair and scalp has never felt calmer, cleaner and so good in general. I've stopped it for a single month and gone back to my former shampoo, which wasn't bad to be honest, and now my scalp feels tired, dry and itchy.
But that's just me.
Best case scenario is to go to a trichologist and let him make a personalized plan for you, but that costs money. So far I don't have such money so I've been experimenting with these things, and they seem to kind of work. The only thing I don't like is that my hair hasn't become way thicker, but that's probably unrealistic. If it just stops the balding process that'd be tremendous.
If you are serious about stopping and even reversing it whilst you're early into the loss you need to look into finasteride and minoxidil. It 100% works but it can have some sides!
@@krasimirgedzhov8942 thanks dawg ❤️
@@RoxusRemo Can you elaborate, please? :) What side effects?
I am 75 yrs as a kid my. Grandmother always use rosemary to rinse my hair it was thick and long I went back to using it on my hair that was thinning and yes it brought my hair back the tea is also very good to drink I am a believer 😊
Apparently Peppermint oil provides good or normal blood flow or blood circulation therefore this would help with hair growth, you can combine peppermint oil and rosemary oil for a more effective formula for hair growth
It doesn't. The study was debunked.
I like hemp lotion because it hydrates without being greasy
I think you should use caster oil, Rosemary and a carrier oil or cream. Also press your hair back so we can see the hair line
Pigmie’s hair style has definitely changed over the past few months 😂 he used to rock like a shorter spiked up or comb over ish, but now it’s long with a part!
it's so hard to tell. I almost thought the after showed slight receding (saw more skin). but the after does seem slightly thicker unless it's b/c hair is longer.
Cool personal study!
It does look like you do have some more hairs growing in the top of the patch
Also the study didn’t use the regular dosage for minoxidil but lower
Definitely looking better.
I love your vidoes bro you've helped me with many different things, I even just watch your vidoes just to see if i can learn something new because your vidoes are very educational
There is no such thing as "too many showers." Thanks for the tips! Definitely see more robust hair growth. I mix rosemary with peppermint, biotin, and saw palmetto. Really makes the scalp "sing" with no carrier oil but usually I use organic coconut oil as a carrier.
Hell yeah, I take one every 15 minutes. A lot of times it's like get out of the shower and turn around and have another. Can't have too many!
@@timetheory84 Yes, I use a saw palmetto serum along with taking saw palmetto herb in capsule form. Been using the herb for over thirty years and never had any issues but, of course, everyone's chemistry is different. I use minoxidil 5% strength five days and the saw palmetto and other oils about every sixth day or so after microneedling with 1.5 length needles. Good luck to you!

Just saw a video a few days ago about hair roll and rosmarin oil... Was asking myself, is it rly good? Now you upload this.. I subscribed the right guy 😂😂😂
Ive been using it for around 6 months too, havent seen a huge difference yet but i feel like doing it with a dermaroller did have some results.. thats why recently i started using the roller again too!
Derma stamping is better
@@ManpowerPewPewu can use the derma roller and just tap but ofc derma stamping is probably better choice
@@eliaspkay you gave me a great idea. I hate my adjustable Derma stamp so much because it’s looseness makes the length shift around so I can never get an consistent accurate length. I’m gonna get a one size Derma roller and treat it as a stamp. Thank u, u have no idea ur the puzzle piece.
As a cosmetologist obsessed with hair grow …I can still see the difference..you must look at the more defined shape of the outline… it’s more pronounced…you must stay with this…after a year you should see more definition and density…however please use all over to keep the stimulation going for the entire head…and remember massage is very important to helping with absorption and stimulation…4 UR 👀Only….40 Yrs experience…I know a lil something…lol
Cream may block the pores...use a rosemary serum with procapil and again...and oil your hair with rosemary essential oil diluted in coconut oil twice a weak at night and then shampoo next morning
Very hard to tell since the after picture is sooooo much sharper than the before one, wich makes this difficult to compare.
Let’s go for another 120 days. I do think it kind of closed that area a bit.
Def keep doing this and try to do it for a year def would see some changes
Literally the most handsome man I’ve ever seen lmao. Also, I’ve been struggling with my hairline because I abused the “man bun” thing, and rosemary oil is really helping.
Really a help ful video ❤
Glad u addressed coconut oils too greasy as a carrier. Haven’t tried yet but I’m thinking pure shea butter would be better than c.o. due to its hardness and density. Now how to combine it with rosemary?🤔 Look into dermastamping (not rolling because it creates wide craters). it’s very rare hairlines are perfectly symmetrical just like hands or arm strength. Peppermint oil is shown in studies to grow hair. Definitely check back in 8 months like u said.
I personally tried castor oil as a carrier and found the opposite, super thick, feel like his cream is a good middle ground, theres actually a brand I used as a leave in conditioner called cantu curling cream (i dont have curly hair but I bought it because I wanted to see if I could mimic some curls in my super straight hair) and I actually think it would be a perfect consistency for this. It has shea butter in it.
@FocusedLucas, I've got the same problem, I have less hairs in my left temp and I think it's because of how you style your hair in time.
What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use?
I don’t know if you are doing derma pins but usually people do it to properly inject the rosemary deeper
I think it does look thicker.
Did you leave the rosary oil in or washed it out…please answer soon.. thank you…
I think it’s inconclusive at this point. Hair grows back slowly, you probably need to give it a year to really make a determination. Finasteride for example takes 2 years to reach maximum effectiveness. You can also get a small dot tattoo to use as a reference and cut your hair to the same length before taking pictures.
I was listening to one of Dr Gary Linkov's videos and he said most hairlines are uneven and it's almost always more receded on the right side (right hand side for the person). It's not known why.
Hi, would you make a video on how to do the hammer grip every day for a whole week for 3 minutes every day, I said that it could be a good exercise for the biceps and forearms, I was wondering if the forearms would grow
Hope to hear again😊
Wish he still did a bunch of flips best thing ever
👋 Hey, you should get a haircut for before and after transformation. But it has to be the same haircut like a buzz cut. And then we all can see a significant difference. Same lighting, angle, quality, and haircut. Hope this helps.
may I ask how do you apply it?
and do you wash your hair after applying the cream?
It looks like there is a slight improvement. I hope you keep going for two more months and give us an update! I especially appreciate the lines on the side by side comparison. That's where I register the possible improvement
he literally doesn't have androgenic alopecia
i think there is more thickness from what i see. ive been trying this for a month now and will be continuing further.
You should pull your hair back in the before and after photos that way it is easier to see the hairline.
Bro you need to use a microneedling device with it to increase the effectiveness by like 400% .... use a stamp or a pen, or a roller with single needles instead of discs.
I am using this mixing with olive oil from last two months. I'm experiencing less hair fall. About thickness I am not sure. May be less stress and good sleeping routine are also important.
This guy has one of the best hairlines for a while if he uses all this stuff he gonna be probably not gonna go bald or omly slightly recede when very old
Lucas, do you wash your hair daily?
I’d like to experiment with this with growing a fuller beard
My concern is, I have read that it works by blocking androgen receptors in hair, is there a chance it might block systemic ones as well?
Is using mielle rosemary oil effective, applied 3 times a week?
Can jojoba oil and rosemary oil be an alternative to use everyday?
you look like human version of Shrek
try using pure castor oil instead without mixing it with lotion you'll see a HUGE difference in about two months and new hair follicles will be popping out of no where . the only side effect is small breakouts around the area where you apply the oil
Speaking from experience
I tried castor oil on my facial hair and brows and they definitely grew thicker. But it's back to the way it was before since I stopped using it.
amazing content 🏁
Rosemary shampoo has been around over 30 years & coal tar shampoo, probably a couple hundred. Both stimulate hair follicles. I had always had ultra thin hair, until my momma heard about T-gel. Smells horrendous, but it only took once for everyone to start tell me that I’ve got enough hair for six people.
Coal tar was shown to be linked to cancer.
What’s coal tar specifically?
Except the rosemary, what kind of cream do you use ??
Awesome research, brother ❤
Rosemary oil and Blackseed oil together would be a pretty interesting test aswell. These vids are so cool to watch!
I'd say it's potentially thicker, at first I thought it might be worse, but it's probably because the hair around the 'dent' is thicker looking, making the dent more obvious. Very interesting video though, I like the long term experiments a lot!
Thanks for sharing wanna try that
the issue with the studies is that they compared to 2% minoxidil. I believe if memory serves they didn't state to concentration of the rosemary oil either. Minoxidil is given as 5% for men. And would show much larger results compared.
Minoxidil is made from coffee. Like cocaine is from coca, they copy off Mother Nature and sell it with fancy packaging!
Hi , you’re so young! Please let me know it is work for old people, over 75? Thank you😊
I saw a video by some 'hair expert drs' who mentioned Rosemary oil. They don't think it really does anything. They said the study comparing it to minoxidil isn't that great and that the likely benefits simply came because of mechanical stimulation of the scalp. One Dr said he'd bet money that he could get hair stimulation with just a tooth brush, massaging toothpaste into the scalp that would produce the same results as rosemary oil.
Rosemary oil (from personal and people I know) say it’s a person-to-person bases as well as age and genetics which play apart in its effectiveness. Minoxidil is naturally a better option but it can have its side effects. Rosemary oil + a derma-roller or derma-pen/stamp is a better option to start with. In my opinion
@@Poseidone101 Yeah I'd like to see a study where it's just mechanical action (e.g. derma roller) vs derma roller and Rosemary oil, because I suspect the results would be the same. The Dr's also mentioned a UK farmer who grew hair back on parts of his bald head where a calf had been licking him when he feeds it. The farmer thought there was something magical about cows saliva that might cause hair to grow...but in reality it turned out just to be the mechanical stimulation of the cow licking him which caused the hair follicles to wake up. I think a this is the case with rubbing a lot of these so called 'natural' oils into the scalp tbh.
Minoxidil is far from natural
@@Bobby-mq9ysno reason to put quotes around natural oils…they are indeed natural

I have the same hair pattern as him. Ive been using rosemary water for almost 8 months with weekly derma rolling. Ive seen no results. Id say go with minoxodil instead.
Keep it up!
Hair growth is in 6-month cycles. 120 days is simply not long enough.
Yes, he mentions that in the video.
Watching the entire video would be beneficial prior to commenting
Can you use rosemary shampoo and conditioner
Have you tried doing positive affirmations for a week or month?
How to use rosemary ? With what oil and the amounts ?
The other issue is whether it prevents hair fall
Im just accepted my hair loss shaved my head and grew a beard now i look like a biker
I mean since your growing your hair out ii seems like it would be impossible to tell whether it’s simply longer hair or the rosemary
Bro said weak spots in his hairline 😂😂😂😂
Looks to me like it's working! Biotin and zinc will also help, taken internally. These nutrients are both DHT (dihydrotestosterone) blockers, and DHT is a factor in hair loss. Minoxidil is also a DHT blocker.
I don’t recommend zinc, as it’s too drying.
@@sunshine3914 It's not drying when taken internally, as I recommended.
Minoxidil is not a DHT blocker. It’s believed to stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow to the follicles. The actual mechanism isn’t quite known. But it does nothing for DHT. Finasteride is what blocks DHT.
Rosemary oil and minoxidil DO NOT BLOCK DHT, they increase the anagen phase of the hair follicle, they also increase bloodflow and are pottasium channel openers which might also help your hair grow. They work INDEPENDENTLY FROM DHT that's why they increase hair growth in places which aren't effected by DHT.
Fyi, u should use Castor Oil as the Carrier, cuz Castor Oil has the ingredients in it thats used in the expensive Eye Lash Serum LATISSE. Its the top natural ingredient that makes eyelashes grow & now talk of gals using it for eyebrows to grow cuz for some reason now as were aging were having odd issue of our eyebrows not growing full like they use to cuz us gals pluck them. So now gals using Castor oil.
So maybe ur Carrier has chemicals causing the Rosemary not to do its job u read about? So try Rosemary w Castor Oil & see if that works better?
and watch the top salami patch as my ex calls it, thsts when head of starts hair look wonky, the receding is more of a aging issue.
