  • A little sneak peek at next week's video where I'm going to talk all about how safe Uruguay is, how it compares to other countries around the world and some really frightening statistics, but for today, let's just look at the safest cities or regions to live in! Also a handful of areas that are best to avoid if you want to keep yourself as safe as possible.

    Questions if I may, love.
    Which are the summer months?
    How long would it take to drive from North point to most southern point?
    The last time I was in Argentina I didn't notice many black people, if any. What about Uruguay?
    Also, what is your Tiktok?

    • @mrcool7fe
      @mrcool7fe Před 9 měsíci +1

      Uruguay is like an extension of Argentina, so you pretty much won't find many black people as well, or maybe none unless they are foreigners. Also, food is similar to Argentina which is parrilla

    • @MaddieAle
      @MaddieAle  Před 9 měsíci +3

      I agree with the commend from Mrcool7fe... except don't say that here, locals might be offended haha.
      There are not many black people, and the black people here are mostly Brazilian from what I have seen. They also call black people "Negro" (black man) or Negra (black woman) quite casually, this is not an insult it's just a matter-of-fact statement, like calling me Australiana (australian woman) ... so prepare for that and try to not take offense.
      To drive from the north to the south... Idk but from the map i can see that to get from Pocitos (south) to Artigas (north) it is 602km and would take approximatley 7.5 hours without stopping. so you could do it in a day, but i would recommend stopping along the way to make the most of your trip, in which case 3-4 days would be better to see a couple of small towns in the "interior"

      this was a very strangely worded comment and almost came across as a threat... so I'm going to suggest you be more careful next time you comment or you might just find yourself blocked and reported :P

    I’m moving there next month as a refugee, I see potential there I’m a make up artist any tips ?

    • @MaddieAle
      @MaddieAle  Před 9 měsíci

      firstly... i don't know how it works as a refugee, but bring as much makeup as you can with you, because it is difficult to purchase many brands here in ururugay.
      But as far as working, most people just use instagram to find new clients or facebook.
      Some makeup artists can do really well here, but you just need to be consistent.
