  • At that time, the best way to put fear into Niger was through strong sanctions. It was an institutional decision taken in the interest of Nigeria and ECOWAS

The point the AES made at their summit on Saturday was that ECOWAS is no longer an independent body, but is taking dictation from the West. In my view, even giving the corrupt Tinubu a second term is not an ECOWAS decision. That came down from France, and it proves the point the AES just made. ECOWAS standby force is also funded by France. Not by ECOWAS member states.

@tothechurchonyoutubewrite7384 and your tiny brain cannot process why AES is saying that right? Is military coup not a mere criminal job? To armed robbers who is the biggest problem to their business? Think with your brain so you can be free from mental foooolishness that prevail in Africa.

    Which borders?
    What deterrent?
Another 1year? No wonder When nobody feels responsible to step in and clear the mess Tinubu created out of ignorance and inexperience of continental politics

The guest is not well-informed on the issue of the state of things specifically the fight against terrorism in Burkina Faso. Reading reports might be helpful at times, but a report is only a tiny document displaying the opinion of a very restricted group. It's only one source of information. We are living the reality if the thing. If the president Ibrahim Traoré had not taken power at that precise time he did it, I probably wouldn't be sitting in my own house today: there were terrorists infiltrating the region I live in at the time. IT IS A GROSS LIE TO SAY THAT TERRORISTS ARE REGROUPING IN BURKINA FASO NOW. Who is benefitting from such a claim. Don't be so naive. To make a long case short, let me tell you that by the grace of the Lord we, in Burkina Faso, are surviving. We're still battling against the extremist insurgents. But even them know that the tide has turned. THIS IS THE REALITY. God bless Burkina Faso ! God bless Nigeria! God bless Africa!!!

Rufai no get sense. so the leader of ECOWAS should act in the interest of Nigeria alone? i would respect him more if he said that Tinubu should step down because the ECOWAS agenda would be a conflict of interest with his duties to Nigeria. But to pretend Tinubu can sit there and make decisions that Favour only Nigeria alone is a sign of his sheer stupidity and simplemindedness.
