The best goal I've ever seen is by Wayne Gretzky during a game vs St. Louis in the 80's. He scored right off the faceoff and right into the net. Literally the puck dropped and he shot it into the net, incredible!
My favourite Gretzky goal was against the Canucks when he took a shot or someone else did and it gets blocked and the puck goes 25feet in the air. Wayne bats it like a baseball top shelf from the hash marks. Just incredible you’ll have to check it out if you haven’t!
I sometimes actually find it a bit tricky to watch those games just because of how many adds there are. Like, the players are covered in adds, the ice is covered in adds then the boards are covered in adds. It’s crazy.

@@armaanthecool5252 Yes, he is an indigenous Canadian. And of course while he was playing for Tri-Cities, they were selling those annoying plastic horns from the merch shop in yellow.
I scored a goal like in the first video playing NHL 07. The game mechanics made it impossible to get a shot on goal until you skated passed the center ice line...the clock was winding down and I slapped the puck in desperation...Ilya Kovalchuk (cpu) one timed the slapper out of mid air from my end of the ice and got all of it. Top corner. The goal was scored with no time left on the clock!
God I love you for including Blake Wheeler's OT goal on North Dakota for the University of Minnesota. I can taste those salty Bison-tears still. Delicious!
As long as his stick is lower than the height of the net when the puck is tossed it should count. That’s a tricky one because if you go too far they may not allow it due to a high stick
2:19 this play should have been offside with the old offside rule (skate needing to touch the ice at blue line). With today's rule that would be a good goal. Regardless, it's a beauty of play

Snorri told me that, when he saw Ólafur going for that movie, he thought, "Please don't screw this up." Also, I will always remember that goal by Oscar Milton (3:15-3:21) as it was even shown here in Canada on our highlights. I found Oscar on Facebook not long after and he was amazed that it gained such renown. I also remember chatting with him one day and he said, "There is another reason why I'm happy that I scored that goal. It allowed us to become friends." 😊
There should be a penalty for carrying the puck when you do Michigan moves.. as for batting the puck out of the air its fine because the puck never sticks to the blade allowing for it to be carried
