Hey mate, what is the size of ur loft, I’m just starting to have interest in racing bird, I’m a bit of a type of handyman, ur loft size fits me to start with,, enjoy flying, cheers!!
You should have at least 2 water jugs inside the loft.
Pigeons should have access to water freely and not by waiting and fighting to get the water after all California has a dry climate and birds get easily dehydrated.
I would also put a Tub for bathing and to relax the animal.

You must train your pigeons by themselves
Okay you're doing wrong take that inside platform and put it on hinges let it lay down where the birds cannot Roost on it because it discourage the birds from going in your you can lose valuable seconds and minutes on it like that trust me I used to do that then I switched it over where they couldn't land on it in from the inside of the wall and they fall straight to the ground it keeps your birds down on the ground keep them away from up top up-top from the other birds coming in
