good job. i remember way back when i was racing, there was no electronic reader for bands on the birds. it was frustrating as we lose precious time. good luck on future races.
Oh yea that can be frustrating! My dad used to do that back then and he said he still preferred that method because he doesnât trust the antenna haha

Thatâs so true. I just feel bad for some birds that I lost during training because I have a feeling they couldâve done the 350 mile race as well. đŹ

Congratulations to the very good final young bird race result from Germany. My father is particpating in pigeon races as well. In Germany the first 33% (1/3) of the participating pigeons receive points. How is it in the US ? Always 20%? Good luck for the next season where the older birds will go for longer distances I think.
