- What’s up Pigeon World! Once in a while I do single tosses with my young birds. I just want them to get confident flying either by themselves or with 2-3 other birds. Hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching!

They look good, that kind of training with 2 or 3 at a time should give you more leaders.

At what age your train them tossing to other place?
Training the birds in 2s or 3s. Is a good idea. It’s gets the birds thinking for themselves. And by training with at least 1 other they race home against each other. I found that you need to spend plenty of time in between groups ie up to half an hour just to make sure that they don’t all kit together.
That was a fun video! Definitely some good training, tell your son thanks for counting the birds during the release. He was really good at the numbers.

How are those 2 birds coming along. A full sister to the blue bar took 3rd club 175 miles and also 3rd combine.
Oh nice!!! I’m still deciding if I should race them for old bird this March or turn them into a breeder 😅
@@gpsloft5868 well if I were you I'd breed the blue bar to that red bar pied you got from me. It would be line bred Picasso with some wolverine. My Picasso birds are doing really good this year. But they are yours to do what you want.

Yes its use to flying with the others that's why its waiting start to single toss them alone now

take them to freezer park to the top of freezer . tech them to fly high , never low always high on top of the picks . you will win the FVC easy
I don't understand why your letting them go separately. When in a race thousands get released together and another reason why they need to fly in a flock is because of the hawks the pigeons fly in different directions to confuse the birds of prey .its just something to think about. Me personally I would not race a white pigeon across a mountain range there easy spotted by the hawks
