EVA Foam Skull - Surtur's Crown - Thor: Ragnarok

- Using EVA foam and a rotary tool, Britt carves her own version of Surtur's skull-like crown from Thor: Ragnarok. The base for the skull and horns were made twice--to create foam-friendly templates for this large, organic prop.

WOW! i just found a way to create something that I have wanted for several years from Bram Stoker's Dracula. The red battle armor and helmet from the beginning of the movie. Stunning! The digital aspects are pretty daunting, but also inspiring. This build proves nearly anything is possible! Beautiful work and best Punished Prop video ever!
Glad you liked it! I think I would have had more fun making the skull template base from crumpled up paper and foil than modifying my 3D model. The 3D model was super handy for the horns, though.
Punished Props This is the trick of prop-making: matching the method to the prop. You have a lot of methods at your disposal, old school and new!
