Did the waxed based shoe polish not cause adhesion issues with paint on top? I wouldn't have thought those would play well together in that order. Great video, thanks!

Lindy Design Lab to answer the question... nope. Worked fine after I quickly dried out the polish with a hairdryer. I also think it might have helped that I was building it up slowly by wiping it away along with the acrylic paints.
That's great to know! Maybe also the filler primer underneath soaked it in better than if it were straight on the plastic.

ohhh that is 110% true. I think it would have rubbed right off if I tried it straight on the plastic printed parts. The primer for sure helped out with that!

Uncle Jessy that’s probably one of the best BIG props I’ve seen you do to date. Great and simple weathering techniques and honestly I would’ve done the same. XTC 3D is great and all but considering it’s much more expensive than filler primer and more difficult to apply. (couldn’t imagine mixing up multiple cups to apply over n over since it has quite a short working time). Great video and you’re brave setting that artwork on fire lol but I think I know how you did it and glad it didn’t get hot enough to melt the PLA! :)
