Well if you keep him alive through 3 and do the dlc you find out. He's different in that reguard because him and a certin Queen of Omega have a momment and if the song is anything to go by. He got it Done!
I love that in his last scene, he owns up to his mistake- he admits that he was short sighted within his work on the genophage without any quibbles or rationalizing.
The genophage is such a tricky subject, morally. The Krogan were on the warpath; their goal was seemingly galactic domination, and they seemed likely to win. The Turians could beat them navally, but nobody had a chance in infantry engagements; the Krogan were endless, both in stamina reserves and numbers. So how do you stop them? Do you rain fire on their worlds from orbit, reduce their planets to fire and rubble? The genophage likely seemed the kinder route, at the time. Nobody would think of the long term cultural or psychological effects of it, only the short-term effect of halting their advance. And after the fact, when you hear of what was done to them, most rationalize it as the only choice available. And maybe, in some ways, it was; the genophage forced the Krogan to adapt their culture to it, to allow for leaders like Urdnot Wrex and Bakara to rise from the ashes of their civilization, to show them that they were wrong to seek such conquest, and to curb their impulses after they are cured. This doesn't excuse the monstrous nature of the genophage; but when faced with the terrible, inexorable advance of annihilation, I believe circumstances would make monsters of us all.
I agree that it was necessary at the time due to the Krogan going crazy, but at the same time, i know that the Krogan weren't at fault since the Salarians uplifted with them before they were ready. Salarians have a tendency not to think about the long term consequences of their actions. The prime example being that they were attempting to uplift the Yahg too, who're worst than Krogan in every way.
@@kingd8468 then who's worse? Krogan or salarian? Because what the salarians did is basically giving a planet of chimpanzees shotguns and told them to go nuts
@@thatlonelygiraffeinc.6989 Im sorry, not to detail the topic or anything, but I am now imagining how Wrex or Grunt would react if they heard you comparing them to a chimpanzee and the image is equal parts terrifying and hilarious. XD

So much of the game was absolute perfection. Why did they have to give three colors of vanilla for an ending. I've heard claims that the ending was bad because it was rushed but if that were true why were they able to put so much effort into the rest of the story.
They focused on the rest of the story first, then were rushed as they got to the end. EA pushed Bioware to release ME3 early, and I believe they pushed for multiplayer as well.
@@Mr-Trox The thing is it really wasn't rushed. From what I've heard from interviews of writers every story idea was going back and forth to be critiqued by other writers except for the ending which no one else was allowed to look at or critique.
ME's strengths have always been the charaters. the RGB endings are just the symptom of the underlying problem. they had no idea what to do about the reapers motivations and so just shoehorned some nonsense at the last min that didnt fit the themes of what was presented before. plus evil EA not giving them the necessary time
the RGB colours were actually placeholders for storyboarding purposes, and were never intended to make it into production. It's quite possible that without the primary colour filters, there would have been less negative attention drawn to the similarities between the endings
Listening to Eve and how Krogan females are always made me think that they should be a biologically matriarchal society. I don't mean that they should as in, that would be preferable, I just thought that being the more politically and diplomatically minded, it would just naturally be so.
Spoiler Alert: When I Lost Mordin And Kaiden/Ashley I Cried. The Way Mass Effect Has You Building Relationships With Your Team Was Just Amazing. Really Got You In Your Feelings When They Made The Final Sacrifice For Other's. I Love All The Mass Effect Game's. The Choice's And Consequences You Can Make Was Just Mind Blowing. Keep in mind Eve comes from a race where females have been disenfranchised for a very long time. Regardless of your opinions on humanity's contemporary gender equality debate, it definitely makes sense that Eve would be more active in her chest thumping with regard to females in particular.

Masterful voice acting. So much in so few words
Even sadder that she said first

And Mordin has the final word. Remember he made Wrex fear for his life by a needle alone. XD

Guess we'll see when we meet Thane on the shore...
He would uplift them and they would then proceed to overrun the galaxy.

Sooo no ones gonna make a joke how wrex is afraid of needles?
Or salarian doctors.
Needles are to Wrex what Wrex is to the salarians.
Goku is scared of needles too.
You'd be scared too if the needles were going into your balls
Its a common phobia
"My patient, my responsibility." Come on Mordin, that is a bald-faced lie, you are totally in love with her.
