A good idea would be for them to watch international games, see how it's played.
That wrestling kid has a huge potential for number 9 but he needs to learn what that role do (and there's a lot to learn). Maybe do also split watching according to roles with a coach next to explain what the player is doing. Pausing, rewinding as needed to the players.
yes, 2 types of videos sessions: one with everyone to watch the full game and one specific to their role with play/pause/rewind and detailed explanation about the role.
Once they have the general idea of their role, it will help for the real training too.

This series isn't for the guys on the screen - its for the guys watching on the couch. It's the 'hey I could do that' factor. That is quite a cross section of sports and body types that Alex has assembled - in the hope that people watching identify with one of the guys on screen.

This is about engaging the wider public about the game, if someone develops further from this series then that's great.

@@Sulu-sw3zo then I think this series will fail miserably. Noone gets interested in "the wider game" kids need heroes, mythical larger than life figures. Mine were the all blacks. They were bigger than us, tougher than us, their bones were stronger than ours, and then you see them play and thats it you're hooked for life.
Stop trying to build up your local Saturday league and then get them to watch pro rugby, improve the presentation of Pro rugby first and the interest will follow. They kids will play the game of their heroes so they can emulate them.

How are d rest of d world going to compete against that.
