Okay, I really like the concept. I did this in an MX5 several years ago and would highly recommend a short-shifter and especially in an older car - it will give it a much newer feel. That being said, does anyone make this device for an E30 that looks much closer to the stock shifter? I just really don't want a log sticking up from the center console.

Ya garagistic recommends atleast the 80A durometer poly for the chassis mount
