Rat Rod Custom 1950 Mercury Rescue! - Roadkill Episode 21

  • It's always a good idea to buy a car off the Internet sight-unseen, right? That's what a friend-of-a-friend of Roadkill did with the kustom Merc-and maybe he made an even worse decision when he allowed Freiburger and Finnegan to wrench on the thing and deliver it to him. This deal was set up by a Roadkill fan, Jim Norman of Norman Vinyards in Paso Robles, California. The road trip involves the '69 El Camino from Episode 4, The Dog from Episodes 4 and 17, lots of burnouts with the guys from Hot Rod Ranch - www.hotrodranchcustoms.com - and plenty of fun with Alex Gambino of Gambino Kustoms - / gambino.kustoms

    You America's have it sorted when it comes to cars and driving while young.
    At 17, my first car was a £300 1.3 Ford Ka, kicking out a massive 66bhp. Insured for £3000 a year and putting £60 of petrol and £10 of oil in every week.
    I got pulled off police all the fucking time to check my car out and see if everything was legal. I dunno how the road kill guys get away with it.

      ***** Yeah even though true, fast turboed cars would scoff, you _can_ feel the boost kick in, and it's pretty cool. Though it's only turboed because without it, the engine would suck even more than it already does. It's 0-60 is around 10 seconds after all, but yeah it's not a bad car. Mine has seen better days though. Hit an ice block that flew off of a semi, cracked the front bumper in half, and wrecked the radiator. It's been driving around with one fog light, and half a front bumper for a couple years now. Don't get me started on the interior. Lol

      I prefer a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze/summer coolant. If I only used water, as I have done in the past, I'd soon have an overheated vehicle in Summer or a cracked block in the winter :)

    • @mibars
      @mibars Před 9 lety

      Rebel9668 But water is truly best collant, better than glycol that is only there to stop it from freezing. Just make sure it is distilled water, you don't want any limescale in your system as this is good heat insulator.

      Tyler Christiansen Or you could show the footage of my best friend's kid getting mauled by two pit bulls. They could show some dramatic footage of him in the hospital, the scars, and being carried to the toilette for two weeks. Would that work? And no I don't mean dogs that look vicious therefore pits. I mean pits. I had a boxer pit when I was a kid that I just loved. So don't pretend I'm making shit up.

  • @HolmWrecker
    @HolmWrecker Před 9 lety +4

    A guys dog can say a lot about the guy. Repeated yawning is a stress indicator. He ain't happy. Tail wagging means little with pits. Vomiting or projectile ass squirting can be a sign of carbon monoxide poisoning at worst and motion sickness at best. Dogs ain't happy when food is blowing out their mouths or asses. Finally, that dog is way too fat. A fat dog is an abused dog in my world. Yep, a dog can say a lot about a man.
