- In this video for the XP130 I go through the initial setup of the camera and then take you through the menu on the camera in brief.
This was recorded with the Panasonic LX100 using the built in Microphones. - Věda a technologie
This is the video i have been waiting for.
Thank you for making so easy to get the best out of this camera. well done
You are very welcome.
This was an awesome video and answered all my questions for set-up. Thank you.
Glad you found the video useful, if there is anything else you need help with just ask.
Thank you, Shahan. Your reply is very clear...I;m sure I’ll knock out the dead wood tomorrow.
Thank you. This was helpful
Great video ....Thank you !
thanks...just set up my new camera !!!
You're very welcome, glad you found the video useful.
Excellent start up (settings) tutorial... UNTIL WE GOT TO THE SHOOTING MENU, PAGE 2/3.-MOVIE MODE. On your presentation the sub screen’s top line is Full HD 1920x1080, 60 FPS. My camera’s screen is line 4: 640x480, 30fps. It seems frozen there...I cannot make the blue line go up or down. The next line time-lapse movie is already set to 1920x1080 60fps. Oops, it was because we didn’t yet have a memory card in place. As w move memory cards from camera to camera...it it necessary to re-format the card?
Yes, always format the card if it has been used in another device, be sure to save any pictures or data prior to carrying out a format.
I'd think about investing in a second SD card, you do not need to get a large capacity card or even the fastest speed SD Card. A mid-range card from a reputable company will suffice.
You instruct us in layman's terms which is really beneficial to we novice XP130 folks. My question pertains to playback of a pic shot in Burst mode. On my 3"LCD screen I've a full screen image. In the lower right corner is a 1/2" thumbnail of each of the images in a full motion loop. By depressing the Disp/Back button I am asked whether I want to play back continuous or play normal (by depressing the "6 o'clock" position beneath the menu/ok). I chose back play normal--the LCD thumbnail has gone away and has been replaced by a blue bar with 4 cameras superimposed on top of one another, and showing me 1/8 ( first pic of 8 taken on burst). Hitting the "3 o'clock" flash symbol, I can move forward through images 2/8 through 8/8). ¿¿ LET'S SAY l LIKE 4/8 BEST. WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO SAVING THIS IMAGE; AND HOW DO I DELETE THE 7 I DON'T WANT TO KEEP??
1. From the playback mode select your continuous images.
2. Press the down (drive mode button) this now displays the blue bar with cameras.
3. Use the left/right (Flower/Macro & Flash) button to select the frame you want to delete.
4. Press the Up (trash) button.
5. From the option select FRAME.
6. This will now only delete a single frame.
Thanks for replying. Take care.
Glad I was able to assist and that you've found the video useful.
At 6:49 if you erase all data, does that mean it will erase all photos/videos on the sd card? Because i recently got a read error on my camera and a solution i hear a lot is to format the card.
Sorry for the very late reply, but hopefully it'll help others now. The answer is yes. If you format a SD card it will delete all the images stored on the card.
do you know how to playback videos on the camera? I can sort through photos but can't figure out how to watch the video without inserting the SD card back into my computer and watching from there
Not sure why you are not able to playback videos from the camera.
I just tested on my Xp120 and as I flick through the images I press the Down (Drive Mode) button to play a video and the Up (Bin/Trash) button to stop.
I'd suggest trying another memory card or resetting the camera to default settings and try again.
Thanks alot !
Glad you have found the video useful and thanks for leaving a comment.
My settings reset every time I turn it off. How do I fix?
Does this camera come with timer?
Yes it does.
To access timer mode, press the down button on the D Pad, and select the clock icon, you can choose between 2 or a 10 second timer.
The camera also has a time lapse function.
Wait...so the "back" button lets you skip ahead? I just bought this camera, and can't for the life of me set it up, even watching this video. I find the camera very unintuitive, and navigating is very confusing (down button to go up, up button to go down, back button to go forward, etc.)
is the sd card in there? because without sd card the highest risolution is 640x480 for me (i'm waiting for the sd card to come)
Yes, I had a SD card inside the camera.
So how can you do a reset to change languages? Thank you
I no longer have this camera, hopefully someone else can answer your question. Nevertheless, the manual should detail how to carry out a factory reset.
@@eguitarstar recently found a couple of tossed out XP90 cameras. They work but want to do a language reset! Thank you
How to set external microphone??
There is not setting for an external microphone, the XP130 only has a built-in microphone.
@@eguitarstar i have xp 130 but i don't know how to set microphone
@@dhirajvlogs.333 You do not need to change any microphone settings, the XP 130 will record audio from the built-in microphone when you record video.
@@eguitarstar i mean extra mic for air noise
@@dhirajvlogs.333 The only setting is to be able to turn it on or off and can be found in the Setup Menu under Wind Filter
thanks, good info. I have one too. wind filter is a joke. zooming leaves noise in movies. makes it sound like a fart! LoL ;) so, for time lapse movies you will find nothing in the stupid worthless manual. you have to push the timer button and head to the right to get it. also, set it up first in time lapse menu. lets you chose frames per second etc. when you get into the timer button and select the one of the right..time lapse, you hit ok, then it lets you choose how many seconds in between pics, and for how long. 2 minute..5 minutes. the 5 minute ones are only a few seconds long. ;( cannot figure out how to make them longer, it won't let me. used a video editor and made it slow down to 1/3 speed. it helped. just wanted to throw this into here since FUJI doesn't care! much Love ;) † ♥
