Just want to mention, if anyone has one of these - remember to switch it to black and white now and again (in the menu, the shooting menu ‘“FINEPIXColor” film simulation menu entry), the black and white mode in all Fuji cams is excellent and very pleasing indeed!

Hi just wanting to say that you can now use camera remote with the 120, so ultimately the difference is now down to film quality and bluetooth

You make it sound like the xp130 introduced the Camera Remote app because of its Bluetooth feature. I have an Xp80 that only has wifi and I have been doing everything you described with the same app for 3 years now! I am still waiting for Fujifilm to give ne a reason to upgrade. The only reasons they have given me in all these years is a slightly larger LCD, slightly improved battery life, and Bluetooth, which would allow me to do exactly what I already can do via wifi. My XP80 is an awesome camera and you can buy it for $75 or less. I have to disagree with your review. The xp130 and even the newly released 140 are just not worth the upgrade. And I'd recommend people buy the oldest xp camera they can still buy that comes with a warranty. Maybe next year they will release the xp150 with 4k video capability. That's what I would upgrade for!

You know, you could just say xp120-130 instead of repeating Fujifilm FinePix XP120-130.

Definitely thinking about buying the xp120 for vacation time...will the photos wirelessly transfer to windows computer via WiFi? What about a Chromebook?
    Thanks.

Awesome to hear! You can wirelessly transfer them to a Windows computer, but I'm pretty sure it won't work with Chromebooks.

Thank you for the great presentation. You helped me a lot in figuring out the various buttons and uses. Just a novice.

Both cameras do the same, read the manuals!: the only difference is for the 130 an upgrade in connectivity.
