Right! Therefore, it was doubly irresponsible for her to drive knowing that she had a medical condition that could cause her to lose control of a vehicle and intoxicated on top of that. Very willfully ignorant and self-centered of her.

I don't understand how the prosecutor on this case thinks the state can win the case on a 2nd degree murder charge. A felony murder conviction, according to Ohio statute, does not require proof that the defendant intended to kill the victim. The only proof necessary is A) the victim was killed by the defendant, and B) the defendant intended to commit the underlying felony. The case is lacking the second prong. Which is the defendant intended to commit the underlying felony. Driving under the influence isn't a felony. Although it should be. What is the underlying felony the driver committed that elevated this from a manslaughter case to a 2nd degree murder case?

This is what alcohol does. You get behind the wheel you take away lives. These little pure souls a brother and sister why this woman knew before she got behind the what a drunk she is. This mother and father and the entire family and friends will never get over this there loving little friends. I will pray for all of you. I know what ever I say will is not the right words. People people stay off the roads. You will pay a price the rest of your life and this lady has chose this but this will never bring these children home. Please trust in god. God did not do this. I’m so so sorry.

How old were the children? They keep referring to them as babies.

Dont know much about building codes, but, I would think the boat club would have built planters/curbs to separate the parking lot from the building!
