When my mother found out what was going on, she talked to the elders of the congregation and she was told not to talk to the police. I was confronted with the abuser in a juditial committee and 3 elders. Gues what??? He won, he denied everything. My mom talked to more elders but no body did anything and the abuser was still giving talks on the plataform. My mom finally reported the crime to the police and the criminal was finally convicted. He had more than 10 victims in 3 different congregations. Of course, my mom was dissfellowshipped for desobeying the elders, she was expelled from the congregation. Ever since we left the organization, no member of our family said even hi to us, they are not allowed to talk to a dissfellowshipped person whatsover, even if the person is a mom, a dad, a son or a friend. Due to this situation, more than 90 members of my family left that society. For those that are interested in attending the convention or any invitation from the jws, beware that THE JEHOVAH WITNESS ORGANIZATION covers up p3p0phil3s, they care more about their reputation than children's suffering. There are hundreds of documentals in internet about this problem the organization is facing right now, as well as million of dollars they have paid to thousands of victims they have.
