Hi Angela - this is off topic but have you considered designing swim suit patterns - both one piece and two piece - I liked the ruffled tops of the two piece and cover ups and classes of how to fit and sew??

Quick question: why wouldn't you embroider on the fabric directly after you've cut the pattern out wouldn't that be easier?

The embroidery on the tweed did not stand out as much as embroidering on tulle. Also, embroidering on the tulle allows me more flexibility in turning corners as I can combine finished embroidery a little easier. Plus if I make a mistake I don't have to rip stitches out of my beautiful jacket LOL!
