This is a very helpful tutorial. thank you! I am going to make a few leggings using your methods so I’m going shopping for fabric. I really like the triple stitch seam. I didn’t know it would still stretch without breaking the seam line. More tutorials please Angela!

I found this extremely helpful too. Machine has 190 stitches and I use only 6. Now I can use one more.

Hi Angela. Excellent class, I was able to follow along and you explained everything beautifully. Everything was going swimmingly, I attached waist band to my pants, eased it in a tad and serged it - it was all fantastic - until I realized I had sewn it to the wrong side.....oh well....I'll try again (hehe story of my life, third times usually a charm but I'll try to two on this one).
I'm loving that fabric! Whenever I find some with a print like that, it is too light weight for pants.
Awesome tutorial! I’m learning still. Can you tell me type of fabric for making these? And where can I get the pattern for this? My new sewing machine will be out of layaway in couple weeks. I would love to try this.
Nice. The only thing is that I don't think it will work for people like me, whit a large difference between hip and waist. To be able to get it over the hips, it has to be (much) wider than my waist. Elastic almost the width of the waist like in the video would NOT go over my hips, or it would be much too big for the waist! :(

I want to ask why you use elastic when there's such a stretch in the fabric that it can act as elastic itself? The yoga waistbands are just so comfortable. Maybe this fabric has less stretch?

She pretty much never responds to any of these messages. And I have also noticed that she does not tell you what type of needle to use. You would probably use a stretch needle.

Hi Angela, what is that little block thing called, that you hold down on the fabric after ironing? I am a quilter and I know I could find that a handy block! Kath 🇦🇺
It is called a clapper. But you can use any block of wood. I quilt as well and you will be surprised on how flat you can get your seams
