Just learned about Amanda’s Bundles.

Took me 3 times to finish watching. Just chaotic around here with repairmen & getting our tv upgraded and then it didn’t work. We lost electricity and there was no rain to blame just wind. I can’t wait to see the duvet cover on the bed. It is so very gorgeous.

Hello Angela and Wolfpack! As for stitching that piece for the buttonholes, I like to use the edge/join foot. I would sew from the other direction. You can move the needle as needed.

How does one get buttonholes so large? I now ha ve abrother Innov-is PS500. Just brand new to me. Also, I have never seen a ruleer such as that one. Is that for buttonhole measuring and/or other things and is it available at stores. Thanks Angela. By the way those buttons are rea prettyand the spread is nice looking. Happy 4th.

Can fabric covered buttons go in the washing machine?

Hello from Missouri. Watching the replay. I love your top and especially the color blocking on the collar.

I had to watch this in the evening as our computer system had a serious malfunction today. Thank goodness our neighbor was able to get it back up & running. The top looks so good with the color blocked twisted collar. The duvet cover is going to be awesome. Right now a serger isn’t in the budget and I want my sewing skills to improve. However thanks to Brother I do have a neat little gadget. It’s the Brother SA147 side cutter. It’s basically an overcast foot with a blade. So I can finish off my seams on my sewing machine and it cuts off the excess fabric just like a serger. It’s a presser foot that attaches to a sewing machine just like any other presser foot. I also love it for travel. Takes a bit to learn it and not as quick as a serger but pretty quick on machine. It beats the other ways of finishing off seams if you only have a sewing machine.

I can relate to hungry bunnies. So far they have never gotten into my flowers but I can wave goodbye to any bean that dares to pop out of the ground. I did have chipmunks eat my coral bells when I first got them started and found a sprinkle of cayenne pepper did deter that munching before they were history. It is always a challenge competing with the wildlife.

Sorry to have missed your show, but I just purchased a Brothers Pacesetter 500...lovely machine. Did not want to go into that arena, but with the cost of repair, labor and parts on the Juki HZL-F300 (bobbin area) I decided to get the plunge. Visa was happy.haha... So, another learning curve for me at 80...one can never stop learning By the way ,on CZcams I noticed that the Pacesetter tutorials were done on a BabyLock Presto II BLMPR2 ? (the same exact machine,) Is Brother in partnership with Brother? Camne as a surprise to me. By the way, If I was to win that money, a lot of it would go to charity, feeding poor street people and other impoverished, families and then a little for me.

MY fears - standing on the edge of the grand canyon and the wind sucks me off the edge, sharks or any kind (one of my books has a shark story) and rattle snakes...of any kind.

Hey Angela watching the replay. In the concrete barriers you could put some wandering Jew. It will drape over the barrier and produces tiny purple flowers.

I am so sorry to miss this show live. The Women's Ministry meets on the first and second Wednesday of the month 😂 Pink and Orange reminds me of 1970's, Dennys Restaurant to be specific. I love Color Blocking.

Use variegated thread, stitch cover stitch but make the bottom side of stitch be on the front of the shirt. High end ready made athleisure wear use that technique.

I want to add that I'm using my serger for a dress, it's so easy. And I am using a rotary cutter, I would have never imagined how easy that is. I wish I had one of those about 50 + years ago when I was sewing.
