Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Flight Demonstration - Trade Tuesday Farnborough Airshow 2016
The Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master is a military twin-engine transonic trainer aircraft. Originally co-developed with Yakovlev as the Yak/AEM-130, the partnership was dissolved in 2000 and Alenia Aermacchi (merged into Leonardo-Finmeccanica, since 2016) proceeded to separately develop the M-346 Master, while Yakolev continued work on the Yakovlev Yak-130. The first flight of the M-346 was performed in 2004. The type is currently operated by the air forces of Italy, Israel, Singapore, and Poland.

Many of us enjoy these videos, but it takes an experienced pilot and studying of flight data to tell how each trainer jet performs to make any comparisons. Every maker wants to choreograph a nice air show to impress the viewers and prospective buyers. It takes awhile for any Air Force to gain experience with a trainer jet to see if it meets its requirements. We do know, for example, that the planned purchase by the USAF of a new trainer/light attack fleet will call for a very durable & reliable jet. It’s been said the USAF wants an airframe life of at least 12,000 hours to ensure it meets trainer needs for years to come. The Italian M346 is certainly one of the notable trainer/light attack jets to consider. And, yes, there is a fair amount of politics and lobbying by makers and special interests in these decisions.

This is what Philippine Air Force should’ve bought instead of the FA-50
    this jet is much cheaper

That is just an advanced trainer. FA-50 light combat aircraft is superior than M-346FA.
This country doesn't have fighters for almost 10 years so the FA-50 fits for this country since this aircraft is a light fighter and it can be used as an advanced trainer.

The first two Leonardo M-346 Master school airplanes delivered to Poland have started the procedure for checking compliance with the specifications of the contract. According to unofficial information, machines do not meet all the requirements. Manufacturers are liable for financial penalties for failure to meet the deadlines that will be charged until the contract is fully executed.

How severe, i do not know if it's true or not but make penalties?I would pay a penalty, tell you to go back to the Russian pals and not pay a penny to make your country the top beneficiaries in this EU joke were Italy is among the top contributors ( we gave many polish people help in the 90's when of course you were victimised by someone )

      - What nonsense?)))
Representatives of the Indian Air Force announced that they outright defeated their colleagues from the UK during joint exercises, writes The Independent. The Indian Air Force used 4 Russian-made and Indian-assembled Su-30 MKI aircraft in the Coningsby exercise. As the newspaper notes, the Indian pilots won a stunning victory with a score of 12:0 in direct air combat.
Indian pilots on the Su-30 prevailed not only in one-on-one battles with the British fourth-generation Eurofighter Typhoon fighters, but also in one-to-two battles with a numerical advantage on the opponent's side. The Royal Air Force aces were left to wave their fists after the fight.
