Other countries love to do business with India and happily sell us their best tech and not to mention develop amazing technologies together. That slow backflip - what I assume is the Kulbit Maneuver - is absolutely bananas! If you were flying another fighter jet and saw the plane next to you doing that, it would melt your brain.
Those are some beautiful aircraft. Great design and functionality. The design bureaus really nailed it with the SU-27/35, Mig-29, and the Pak FA. Post stall maneuvers, high AOA, no worries... Just point your nose and it goes. Even the MIG 31, though an older airframe is still a top notch fighter aircraft. Also when you compare costs, I'd take several MIG-29/SU-27's over one F-35/F-22. (one F-35 =$74M USD).
The cost of one F-35 will fall around 70 mil only when they produce and sell a bulk of them, which wont be for at least a while, for now it costs 100 mils and more, not to mention ridicolously high maintenance costs.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen a in person air display I have no idea how much sky he is using. I think when I watched the last one, the RAF still had F4 Phantoms.
Supermaneuverability can be lethal and unmatched for engagements where pilot is extremely skilled, master in dogfight and number of enemy jets low. But it can be suicidal too, when pilot doesn't know his doing, maneuvers in wrong time and number of enemy jets is higher, making it an easy target when slows down for special maneuvering. As example when performing a super maneuver to fool the enemy, his wingman can easily shoot down as the speed/energy gets low.
I manufactured a platform around a metre square, 21 inches high, and large enough to take a full tripod (used it at RIAT 2017) but would be expensive to transport to Russia probably? Pity about that fence destroying the viewing of the runway
I had the same idea to manufactured a platform.;-)) But the problem for me is the weight, and transport to the airshows. Because, I have heavy equipment already (tripod/head/cameras etc.), and it is impossible for me to carry a platform additionally. I don't know if the transport to Russia is expensive. I think that's a question of your airline you'll take. But, it's not a problem to bring a tripod or platform to the MAKS.:-)

Supermaneuverability can be lethal and unmatched for engagements where pilot is extremely skilled, master in dogfight and number of enemy jets low.
But it can be suicidal too, when pilot doesn't know his doing, maneuvers in wrong time and number of enemy jets is higher, making it an easy target when slows down for special maneuvering.
As example when performing a super maneuver to fool the enemy, his wingman can easily shoot down as the speed/energy gets low.

I manufactured a platform around a metre square, 21 inches high, and large enough to take a full tripod (used it at RIAT 2017) but would be expensive to transport to Russia probably? Pity about that fence destroying the viewing of the runway
I had the same idea to manufactured a platform.;-)) But the problem for me is the weight, and transport to the airshows. Because, I have heavy equipment already (tripod/head/cameras etc.), and it is impossible for me to carry a platform additionally. I don't know if the transport to Russia is expensive. I think that's a question of your airline you'll take. But, it's not a problem to bring a tripod or platform to the MAKS.:-)
