Imagine calling the Yeti number, getting the sex line and hearing a Yeti on the other end? Like he was still hard up for work and that's what he ended up doing.
Driv3r and Kill.Switch are actually legit GBA masterpieces just for working at all. The dudes behind the Driv3r port actually had the market pretty much cornered for 3D GBA games, and they managed some technical wonders on the DS as well. The Asterix & Obelix game they made was probably the most technically impressive GBA game period, looking essentially like a slightly shittier PSX Crash Bandicoot game. I've actually played a ton of these games just because of how fascinating they are to even exist.

@@ZapWires As lore goes, Vinny streamed Zoo Race feeling either sick or in some kind of cloudy mental state and took umbrage with people in-game presenting religious belief as fact (something he apparently dealt with growing up n Catholic school), so he sorta shit on that. Religious members of the chat blew up, calling him a "fedora wearing atheist" and sending him a lot of hate messages and email because of it.
Simply put, a lot of religious people are intolerant twits who need a good smack in the face.

that reminds me of some guy’s entire fanmade expanded universe version of Urban Yeti on a thread on an old dead mario forum from 2007/2008 that made it sound like some kind of long, incredible RPG with massive production values, where the yeti ascends from beating up squirrels and birds to fighting demons and monsters and the exact same spider but with better stats and longer names each time. it was never archived
i just remembered that the spider names were things like "Giant Spider" "Giant Spider's Revenge" "Giant Spider's Revenge's Revenge" "Son of Giant Spider's Revenge" "That Spider Again"...i really wish it had been archived because it was a real trip

Urban Yeti resembles a lot GTA Advance, aother GBA game. Even the movement of the character and style of the background images. Guess its the same engine.
It looks more like someone copied gta 1 and 2 stuff and some of gta advance(shittiest gta ever imo) and made a shitty rip off on those games... it might be a rom hack of the first gtas for all we know.

Every time I find out somebody has played the GBA version of the Bible Game, the closer I get to confronting my parents over why they bought it for me.

Oh my god, I remember playing Razor Freestyle as a kid and not understanding anything about it at all.
In fact, the only thing I remember hearing the Midi version of "A Story About Us" and liking it, and it slowly made me a fan of Never Too Late. And then I dunno when I listened to it but I heard Vinny's "Scoot the Birbs" and I wondered forever why it sounded so familiar to me.
This video has literally just reminded me of my edgy teenage life of a 12 year old laying in his bed, Playing on his GBA playing Razor Freestyle Scooter.
Thank you Vinny, thank you for the amazing memories I couldn't have believed I've forgotten. It's been almost a lifetime since I've heard that song and the memories they've brought back.

Wait I played/owned Creatures as a kid. There's no way the game was that complex. I just remember having a little world of these things to hatch from eggs and play around with. I don't remember anything about neurons or organs or developing ptsd
I remember Creatures 2 was like that. I remember being scarred for life as a kid after I found the science kit and all the crazy crap that had in it. You could inject them with cyanide and kill them. True story.

that sea monkeys game was really unsettling to me, i think it was a combination of the ugly cgi models, your character’s scream when they died, and the “nautilia is dead” text on the game over screen. vinny talking about people torturing the ai pets over it just added to how eerie it felt

You can actually get a virus in the game. but the only way to do that is by linking them and sending a gift. the game will give you an option to send a virus to the other user.

Aww man i remember creatures, i had it on the pc and on the playstation, and also had creatures 2. the playstation version was much more limited than the pc one but still pretty advanced
it was prolly not a good game for a kid to have though. the worst thing that happened to me was i had a creature that was weaker and tired all the time, so being a dumb kid not understanding much, i gave it adrenaline to help it. not long into it's life it just stopped moving, like i don't think it even slumped down, it just stopped. that might of been an error, but what happened was the creature's body no longer made energy because i gave it adrenaline all the time. it was one of those brutal old game that gave you pretty much no instructions or explanations so as a kid i didn't fully understand what happened

I no joke suppressed the memory of that fucking dog game. It was so bad that I literally forgot it existed, but as soon as I heard that music, saw those screen transitions, and looked at those horrible dog models, all the memories flooded back into me of having to waste my time on that shit because it was all I had.
