i'd watch them live but i like the luxury of pause skipping ahead, ect of recorded streams plus i don't keep up with his streaming schedule. (and Internets pretty shit to watch livestreams with)
luna violet Same with the pausing thing. I actually tend to watch these streams when I'm eating lunch or whatever, or at night I watch them on my phone until I pass out. Then I can return to it later and watch a single stream over the span of a few days.

The animations in Isle of the Dead are hilarious and amazing. That was some wasted talent, someone should have gotten that guy to do Metal Slug style sprites for a silly River City Ransom-esque beat em up or something.
These compilations of shitty fan and old games are why I subscribed specifically to you, Vinny. Please keep doing these. The commentary is hilarious most of the time because it seems like you're genuinely confused about why any of this shit is happening.
That Super Show episode Vinny mentions is actually amazing. It ends with the fakebro running off because Luigi fakes a conversation with the IRS about owing 900,000 dollars.

+Crazy Luigi It will be difficult to explain it to not Pole but I'll try. so, everyone knew this game was utter shit, even during its debut. But the setting and the locations were unique. Yes. Apartment complexes in big cities during the late 80's and early 90's in Poland looked almost like this, we had riot police waiting to beat you up and we enjoyed watching movies with Stallone or Schwarzenegger on VHS a lot.

The art & animation on Isle of the Dead was actually pretty good so I read the title sequence of the game and found that the art was made by Myk Friedman. Looking him up he was actually an accomplished animator and artist who passed away a few years ago from Diabetes.

14:10 man those motion controls... it’s crazy how eccentric controls can get before there was any standardized or generally accepted baseline in terms of motion controls/mechanics. Kind of like how tank controls from games like Silent Hill 1 feel dated by today’s standards.

That Franko game is pretty interesting, it's one of the first commercially released games developed in Poland. Apparently the DOS version is a lackluster port of the original Amiga game and barely had any input from the original developers. The history behind that game is pretty neat, read up on it some time if you get bored.
I really want Vinny to cover the Isle of the Dead music.

Haha, I've played most of them. I remember that in Depth Dwellers you could teleport out the enslaved people with a button (and I didn't think it was as bad as many people say). Couldn't ever finish it however, as saves in episode 3 seem to corrupt at a certain point. There also was a Jetsons game which almost seemed like a copy & paste of the flintstones one, but with other levels and sprites. GateWorld, huh, I wanted to finish it someday but it is so weird and controls like utter waste...
That megaman game... the crates, the sounds, it is just like Duke Nukem. Did Apogee take "inspiration" from that game or was it the other way around?
