About Who's The Boss?:
Being a parent is tough; being a single parent is even tougher. So when injuries and his wife's death force ex-baseball player Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) into retirement, and a single mom, high powered advertising executive Angela Bower (Judith Light), needed someone to run her household, it was a match made in heaven. Or was it? After convincing her free spirited, mischievous mother, Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond), that hiring Tony is the right thing to do, the less-than-tidy Angela welcomes him and his daughter Samantha (Alyssa Milano) as the live-in housekeeper for her and her son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro). And while their relationship starts out businesslike and platonic, becoming best friends and confidants makes it hard for two attractive, single adults living under one roof to resist their more grown-up impulses.

This particular show had TREMENDOUS chemistry between all the actors!
You're so right, can't even imagine this show with a different cast, they mesh so well together, like they've been together a long time.
Exactly! I love the cast reunions they have been organizing over the years. Unfortunately a next one would not count with Katherine Helmond's presence, the first one of the cast who sadly left us. The one People did in 2016 was perfect!! They really look like one big happy family.
The 80s TV shows were awesome. And music was great. I need a time machine!!
Yes. Less political correctness, none of those race this race that bull.
That's what CZcams is for
@@Marchant2 I would rather have the time machine.
Same!!
i with you on that one
Ahh! Yes. One of the few shows that takes place in Connecticut.
This is my favorite, the best sitcom ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The actors matches perfect together 👌👍
I love Tony Danza 😍😍❤️❤️
0:15 Tony was very Cute, so Italian 😊
I would've hired him on the spot! What a hunk!!
My favorite all time show Who's The Boss & Tony & Angela make the best couple ever, so much chemistry between them
😅😅 Thanks for the love
I forgot how young Alyssa was when she started.
And then wienstien
@lu k Yes yes, the psychos are on the left. Because the right's REAL normal. -_-
@@poindexterflex3528 This lu k guy obviously is uneducated in all the psychotic crap the right has done. Killed innocents, posing with their guns, oblivious to a deadly virus, caused a riot that caused lost lives. Just to name a few. Or he/she is aware and don't see those things as problems which is even more concerning.
😅😅😅 It’s been a long time coming
My Mom and I loved Judith Light when she was on a soap called "Ryans' Hope". She is an incrediable dramatic actress. She could cry at the drop of a hat. But I loved her just as much in Who's the Boss!
I thought it was called “One life to live”.
You are right ! I was also thinking of Kate Mulgrew .Thanks!
My Mom & I as well. She called her "the best crier in the world." And yes it was One Life to Live. She played a character named Karen, I think.
@@4shys2 Kate Mulgrew-another amazing actress! And she's deaf in one ear so relied on lip reading from the other actors as cues for her lines.
@@giannacaradonna3485 I never knew that , loved her even in "Remo Williams" ! Thanks!
I've been watching reruns I forgot how much I love this show !!! 💕 I love my TONY
Mona been trying to match Angela up with since the beginning with him, funny strong, handiman around the house.
Who's the boss is one of my all-time favorite TV series.
Great chemistry between the future lovebirds!
I love this show I could watch it over and over and over
Thanks for the love and compliment
It doesn’t hurt that he’s a hunk.
Yeah. But losing his wife was the toughest and then raising a young girl is not easy. Not to mention he gave up his apartment and home for a new job! He needs that job Badly! And I'm with him 100 percent
"That's the idea" hahahhahahaha, LOL!
Haven't seen this in so long, all the jokes feel fresh
One of my all time favorites💙
Loved this show
A favorite show
This was my favorite
Angela’s hair looks perfect after being wrapped in a towel
It's 2021 and I love Mona's clothes!
Man I miss the 80s things were good back then nowadays shows are just a bunch of drama some not all of them I'm more of a oldies guy than a newbie guy you know
I love all of this show
This is deflee gonna be my new mealtime show.
I've always loved these, (Who's The Boss)!!!!
My favourite
More videos please 👍👍👍
I love the first episode wish I could watch it all🙁
its on roku and crackle has episodes too also amazon prime has the first season; right now roku has the first fifth and sixth seasons and crackle has the third season; they rotate every few months
She reminds me of Princess Diana
4:45 Wow, super young Alissa Milano. 😂
I have Netflix and I have been watching this show everyday. Tony Danza is so funny! Love his laugh! The man has a great body! Very good looking man! He was in Taxi with Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd but I prefer his comedic talent in this show. Love the 80's❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Netflix? It’s on roku and prime
A foreign man suddenly appears at your doorstep and takes your kid to school in his car? Sure thing... xD
Such a great show. I miss this type of content. No politics.
@JONES Really good point actually. I guess I don't mind politics if it's not constantly at the forefront being hamfisted into something.
This show is all about politics. Its about gender roles in the 80's. The obstacle of their love interest is that they are socially from different tracks, she's the boss on the money and the career and he is the housekeeper. The whole obstacle / heart of this sitcom is because of the social spot they're in regarding their times. Today it wouldn't make a sitcom, you date and love whoever you want but back in the early 80's a woman being on top of men socially and professionnally was strong stuff, almost bold I guess. Its 2021 and we're still talking about women not earning the same money as men in equal positions!
Its all sugarcoated and family fun oriented but they took an italo american whos able to clean houses to support his daughter and at the same time is too ashamed of his condition to find the courage to brave it all and go for the love of his life. Its very present and always mixed with comedy.
Gender roles isn't political? Lol
@@SylvainThuret Great breakdown. Anyone that thought this show wasn't political totally missed it.
Das war eine tolle Serie, da stimmte einfach alles 😀👏. Leider gibt es keine guten DVDs in deutscher Sprache, schade 😢.
good video good scene
Angela is the boss
4:48 -- timing of Throw Back TV cannot be more apt then tat ..ahahha..
I saw her a few months ago in "the menu", at least she's still working.
I'm with Abed on this one, Angela Bauer is the boss
Great show.........bring it back to TV LAND AND put Andy to bed!!!!!
yeah they should be playing 80s shows on there by now not so much 50s/60s television
Yes. they should bring it back to tvland
Who's the boss? two episodes are on antennatv
😅😅 You want to see that?
❤
pintauro so cute good start bad ending,,,time to make better choices for better endings.
This is when Angela becomes the boss. #sadbois
Actually that isn't clear. Thus the title of the show.
most episodes are blocked because of copyright. if they will not make it available on DVD, they should loose their copyright. Antenna TV is showing it but keep skipping epiosodes/
Hey, young Phoebe.
Reboot is coming confirm by Tony Danza i hope it's good like the original series.
It won't be the same without Mona, the actress who played her had died.
@@bhd7721 Yeah i know but im not sure if Judith or Danny is coming back.
@@antoniochapman3986 like I've said it wouldn't be the same without them. Sometimes let's leave these shows the way the are, it's like trying to bring the Cosby's show or A Different World back both Cliff's parents are dead, Rudy's boyfriend Stanley's dead, Mr Gains and Whitley's mother are dead so forget it.
A male housekeeper: cook, clean, repair, and guard the house
A female housekeeper: cook and clean
I'd go with the male housekeeper.
How do you like them apples
mucho macho..lol

So this was the precursor to Melissa and Joey
yup !! Joey even kinda looks like Tony in the mouth; there were moments of Melissa and Joey that were totally lifted from this show. Like when he reorganized Mel's closet; in the second episode of who's the boss, Tony tells her where she should have her undergarments basically implying he wanted to reorganize it except I dont know if he followed through.
Back when Alyssa was normal.
Reminder : a year ago, your double impeached criminal cult leader trump LOST 😂🤣
Mona has always been the wise guiding force of angela.
Jonathon is now 45 and HIV+.
How time flies...
What happened to Alyssa's eye
Stealing third in Little League.
@@Tubewings No. He only said that, really she can home from school with it due to fight with 3 boys. A reason he told his neighbour they are moving on the day they left the NYC apartment.
Mona was so funny. Katherine Hellmond was an amazing and funny dirty 'ol girl in everything she plays. She hired Tony right from the beginning to dust cobwebs, and cause Sam would be a sister to Johnathan. Yes, Alyssa was super cute when she was young.. Gorgeous when she was a teen. I can't believe the crap people go on about her about. She's entitled to her views as you are yours. Now she's being called a hypocrite for calling the police on what she thought was an armed man with a long rifle.. Had it been a killer and she didn't call she'd be strung up and stoned. Fickle Fickle Everywhere, Crying and Whining I just don't care. I loved Alyssa in Who's the Boss. Whine all you want it's not her loss.
You're not telling the whole story. She promotes for defunding the police, but when she thinks she see's a man with a rifle, guess who she calls to rescue her......the police.... It turned out to be a neighborhood kid with an air gun shooting for fun.
@@martijnvv8031 Ummmm.. So what. So do I. Do you even know what it means? It means less money is spent solving problems before they start rather then trying to fix a boat with a hole in it, while it's completely full of water and already almost sunk by throwing money towards it blindly.

How uptight was Judith Light back then? 😊💝
The walking dead brought me here
😅 How is that?
@@SabrinaChach watch season 7 episode 3 opening
This is Alyssa Milano? The little girl doesn't remind me of Alyssa.
😅😅 Yeah. Don’t tell me you forgot
I thought Samantha was played by ms.antiScientology?
Alyssa Milano plays Samantha, That was Leah Remini who plays her friend Charlie
lol she made an appearance on who's the boss a couple of times bu thats it
I mean it's not a real religion anyway so yeah.
It's a shame what happened to Alyssa...... :(
what happened to her? ill? accident?
she slipped down the hill, hit her head.

@@lilianab4756 ah, ok. well, she'll feel better soon I'm sure.
I forgot Alyssa Milano was in this show!
Shoehorning politics into everything has destroyed tv/movies, wish we could go back to the days of the 80's/90's when nobody cared who you voted for.
No it hasn't! You just don't like it.
Why of course it was normal back then to answer your door to a stranger wearing nothing but a bathrobe & a towel . No wonder why that Milano kid is one psycho lunatic freak today .
care to explain?
Dude really? It wasnt normal back then but people were more safer than now a days.
@@retiredsnowbunnyhunterx5106 As a kid myself in the 40's & 50's many people left their house doors unlocked ( when at home ) and their car keys in the cars ignition .
@@rick-kx7gy You right! Although i didn't really see any of that till i moved out the hood in 1992 lol you definitely can't be doing that in the hood unless you well know in the hood. But where i moved too afterwards a better upscale area it was very common for people to leave door unlocked.
@@retiredsnowbunnyhunterx5106 Sorry I failed to mention that this was in WV. Everybody knew everybody almost . What were the snow bunny daily limits in your state when you retired ?. Trap , snare, or shoot ?. Joking .
And that cute, sweet little girl grew to become an advocate of killing babies...
Awwww
Yeah I didn't see that coming. Interesting. She has a lot to say about a lot of things...
bad ending for pintauro because of his bad choices also
